The British army is reknown for its superior training and effectiveness in combat. I've been told that they are the best soldiers in the world, worth three American combat troops in the field. Is there anyone out there who has any reason to think differently?

I was just curious how the co-pay works. I am needed to have 2 wisdom teeth extracted and I am trying to figure out how much it is probably going to cost. If anyone is familiar with the Tricare dental plan through United Concordia can you please help me out? I would call them but the last time I did I was on hold for 20 minutes. Thanks!

Me & my new Army husband were assigned to Alaska @ Fort Wainwright to serve the military.Due to my medical condition I cannot live in the freezin cold weather. We are currently eligable for a compassionate reassignment & can choose any other US Army fort. This has proven to be a very difficult decision. Alaska doesn't deploy again till 2008. I want to move our family to a location with a similar deployment status (& fairly warm weather) so I can settle in before he has to go. It is also important to be a good non-ghetto area. I have 2 girls one 12 & the other 15. Please help!! Thank you.

I do not understand how all these people who would never fight for freedom, and yet enjoy the freedom, that is bought by our soldiers, are even able to vote and not serve our country. I'm sick and tired of my loved ones not being able to spend more time at home. It just doesn't seem to be balanced at all.

Not prematurely, I mean. But if you serve your contracted time, and you don't do anything really stupid, is that enough to get an honerable discharge? Or do you have to go above and beyond to be "honerable"? What does "general" discharge mean?

Before I met my wife (when she was 17) her Ex-Navy father got mad at her and drove her down to the army recruiting station and forced her to enlist. She was officially sworn in at MEPS the following march, the very day of her 18th birthday. We met a few days after she was sworn in. We married in July she is in Basic training now. She was so scared when she left, she is sacred now, she never wanted to go, she was just afraid to say no to her Dad. Her dream is to be a veterinarian, but her Dad got her signed up as an Infantry Supply clerk. Is there anyway to save her from this nightmare. Is there anyway to get her discarged?
