Depends on your view of that.

Within reason, yes. But in the most general terms no.

I don't think you can own a fully functioning howitzer, abrams tank, weaponized missiles, nuke, some automatic weapons are against the law, armored personel carrier, mortar, rpg, bazooka, stinger missile, etc. etc. there are alot of weapons you simply should not be able to own (at least not easily).

if you get a federal firearms permit you can get almost anything. the permit will run you about 2500.00 a yr. still wanna play. dont forget the very extensive background check that you get to pay for.
