Good luck!!! My brother was in Fort Campbell for past of his training, before being stationed in Q West. Thankfullly, he made it 'home' (as in, back in the states) and is now in Texas. Anyway, he liked Fort Campbell, said that it was a 'good place.'

I was stationed in Campbell for almost 11 months, so Im not much of a subject matter expert. But I have been stationed all over the place. And it is a very nice post. Very family oriented and highly motivated and very proud. If you are going there soon, have your husband contact the replacement company, its on Campbells website, and have them give him a sponser. I hope this helps.

I'm from Fort Campbell. Fort Campbell is mostly in Tennessee and partly in Kentucky.
The area cities are Clarksville, TN and Hopkinsville, KY. You're about 1 to 1 1/2 hour North of Nashville, TN. There's a lot of shopping for women within the area to within a three hour drive, and plenty of outdoor activities, like hunting, fishing, camping.
If you're gonna to live off base, try to live in Kentucky because taxes are way cheaper than Tennessee. (Sales taxes in TN is 9%, KY is 6%).
