Conservative estimate -- Iraq War Will Cost More-than-$2-Trillion

"Two scholars, one a Nobel Prize winner, revisit their estimate of the true cost of the Iraq war – and find that $2 trillion was too low. They consider not only the current and future budgetary costs, but the economic impact of lives lost, jobs interrupted and oil prices driven higher by political uncertainty in the Middle East."

with the US flag as the highest? I have searched many websites and discovered an order of precedence for the 5 military service branches. None mention displaying the National flag with the other service branch flags, and where they are placed in relation to the Stars & Stripes, which is always flown highest, or placed in the center.

I have to display 6 flags with the Stars & Stripes in the center. Which order do I display them, from viewer's left to viewer's right?

Take as a given that our invasion of Iraq was unprovoked. Is an unprovoked invasion characteristic of U.S. foreign policy throughout history, or is it a change from the norm? I believed the former, but having recently learned about our invasion of Canada in the War of 1812, I have begun to doubt.

My friends are idiots and think the Civil War solved nothing. Now we all know that when they say this, they say that all 600,000 people who died in the Civil War for us died for nothing. Kindly tell me solutions that the Civil War gave us so that my undereducated charlatans of friends may be further enlightened.
