It's illegal in the UK to raise and keep an army of war, including mercenaries.
The only person legally allowed to do so is the Duke of Atholl in Scotland.

Infiltrate a college cheerleading team. They'll get the job done. Might have to compromise their morals a bit, but you have to fight on the americans terms. Don't tell any of the fine young US marines what their mothers would think of them for looking up a girl's skirt, but it's ok for them to shoot a few arabs.

I doubt the likelihood that someone unable to spell mercenary will get a very high caliber of recruits. You'd best be prepared to spend a lot of time training them. Have health insurance, you're likely to shoot yourself during the course on "gun safety".
