I do not understand how all these people who would never fight for freedom, and yet enjoy the freedom, that is bought by our soldiers, are even able to vote and not serve our country. I'm sick and tired of my loved ones not being able to spend more time at home. It just doesn't seem to be balanced at all.

Where did you get the 19% information from? Do you believe that 100% of our soldiers should be sent to the middle east? You don't seem to understand the military system and how it runs. Your loved ones are not giving you the information they should be giving you. You'd better ask them to explain the soldiering ways.

Well would you rather it be 50% or 75% being sent to the middle east?

We are only sending the amount necessary to Iraq and Afghanistan. We do have military bases all over the world that do need to be manned at all times. If we send more troops over to the middle east we risk leaving a base under staffed.

Because they are in support roles so that those soldiers can, eat, crap, and shave. Logistics and supplies win wars not just fighting. With out the role of support staff your friends and family wouldn't have anything to eat in Iraq but sand and camels.

The Radical Islamists think of the world as a number of many fronts. To them, Islam will rule the world and all non-Muslims (and any who oppose them) will be killed.
