The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Wahabism in Saudi Arabia have been the two major learning centers for terrorists in the Middle East for the last 75 years including training Bin Laden/Al Qaeda. So why the hell aren't we bombing and invading those countries two countries that shelter the "Schools of Terror"?

The way I see it, America cannot occupy Iraq for the next 4 years for the following reasons:

-The Iraqi people government won't let us

-Even if they did, the Iraqi PEOPLE wouldn't. There would be a popular uprising long before this time

-The American people won't stand for it, the war gets more unpopular by the month

-Even if the government tries, the pro-war candidates will get recalled/voted out and Congress will force a Vietnam-style withdrawl

-Bush leaves office in 2008, his policies are probably leaving with him given how unpopular he is

Whether we should stay or not is irrelevant. Whether we 'stay the course' or 'cut and run' or whatever isn't the US military's choice to make. Staying indefinitely makes no sense, leaving by a certain date makes no sense. Why stay through 2010 if we don't have to? It's the same as saying we can't win by that time. If the Army truly believes they cannot win within 4 years, what will more time do for the mission besides make it worse?

"Things aren't getting better there" is bullshit. Functioning Iraqi security forces, nationwide elections, infrastructure and economy improvements are there to see. I know I'm talking about from firsthand experience in the dirt. I stated perfectly clear what good reasons there were for immediate pullout (if seriously considered) elsewhere. Not my problem that some (that's you, kvn8907) can't read or think to save their lives.

Why do wannabe pacifists push for either "bring our poor boys home" or "leave the poor Iraqis alone"? If the paramilitaries are allowed to engage in unrestricted violence, every Coalition life lost is wasted. Is it okay as long as Iraqis are killing Iraqis? Are American troops somehow more evil to these idiots than some thug in a dishasha?

What is the matter with these people that they can't do basic research or even claim to have any firsthand knowledge of conditions on the ground, yet they blindly come to sweeping conclusions that are flawed and morally wrong?

why is it that so much attention is focused on Iraq and the war there that it seems as though whats going on in Afghanistan has been pushed to the background?
we have already caught the "bad guy" in Iraq - shouldnt that now be a "peace keeping mission" and the focus set back on Afghanistan and Bin Laden ?

in rwanda it was 800,000, the holocaust 5.1m jews died approx. wilkins defines genocide as any acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such: Killing members of the group; Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
I personally don't believe in this blame game about who is responsible..ie Us forces or terrorists. I recognise there is a war out there, however, point is innocent people are dying, thats the reality.

Having 2 family members fighting in the Iraq war places them in harms way when the Hollywood no nothings bash our President and our country for the whole world to see and hear. I want to be able to sue these people in order to keep their mouths shut..and tend to their stupid business of acting out their low morals, instead of trying to influence others . Is there a good lawyer out there willing to take on the challenge pro bono?
