"Things aren't getting better there" is bullshit. Functioning Iraqi security forces, nationwide elections, infrastructure and economy improvements are there to see. I know I'm talking about from firsthand experience in the dirt. I stated perfectly clear what good reasons there were for immediate pullout (if seriously considered) elsewhere. Not my problem that some (that's you, kvn8907) can't read or think to save their lives.

Why do wannabe pacifists push for either "bring our poor boys home" or "leave the poor Iraqis alone"? If the paramilitaries are allowed to engage in unrestricted violence, every Coalition life lost is wasted. Is it okay as long as Iraqis are killing Iraqis? Are American troops somehow more evil to these idiots than some thug in a dishasha?

What is the matter with these people that they can't do basic research or even claim to have any firsthand knowledge of conditions on the ground, yet they blindly come to sweeping conclusions that are flawed and morally wrong?

It's because, as you rightly point out, most of us haven't been there and don't have enough concrete knowledge to make a definitive case one way or the other. Research is difficult when radically different claims are made from all sides and all claim to based on first hand knowledge. How do we know which "eye-witness, first-hand account" to believe? I've been an outspoken critic of this war since it started, but purely on military grounds, as a 20 year man, with a career that stretched from the Nam era through the end of Desert Storm, that is something I know. I'm sorry I missed the posting to which you refer, I'm sure it would have been instructive.

Possibly because the vast majority of them have never served or worked in Iraq. I am a former US Army Officer and I won't to see our troops return home as as the mission is completed...that is what they told when I spent 18 months working in Iraq with the soldiers.

I'm DEFINITELY NOT one of those "wannabe pacifists" you refer to. I will be glad, though, when my son returns from his second tour of duty over in Iraq, but I can tell you that if he decides to "re-up", I won't be sad or disappointed. He's one fine American who's over there gettin' things straight for more freedom in the world and more intelligent governments. God Bless you.

i think of maximum of it has to do with a womans elevating. women oftentimes get spoiled via their father and mom allot greater then boys do i think of via far. that's what positioned them to this point out of touch for their movements and accountability. the government is in part accountable to boot for giving women a faux sense of secure practices. notwithstanding women injury themselves interior the long-term via getting pregnant at an early age, they are no longer held as in charge because of fact the guy. government quite rewards them with welfare, toddler help, and medicaid. on the same time as the daddy of the youngster is financially held responsable on the same time as the female knows that she has all varieties of help to hand available to her. If the female become held in simple terms as in charge because of fact the guy allot much less could be getting pregnant. additionally allot of that to to boot has to do with women having a low self self assurance, lack of self assurance, and immaturity. a number of them look to have what I call the "Barbie Doll Syndrome". it quite is the place that girls think of that the answer to all of their disappointment is to have a toddler, no longer totally comprehending the actual responsablities that lie previous to them. Then they discover themselves in a worldwide of harm, looking out that the boy dont wanna be with them or, they dont wanna be with the boy, ruining her opportunities at a greater desirable coaching and existence!! yet, oftentimes directs all of the anger torwards the guy that have been given them pregnant interior the 1st place. yet, to sum up each little thing fairly lots, it genuinely relies upon on how they are raised, and girls are being raised allot diverse than they become 30yrs in the past!!! this may be cured if father and mom could be reliable father and mom to their infants greater often than no longer, and being reliable to them does no longer mean giving them no responsability,& no longer showing them the thank you to understand and be respected!!!! Spoiling a toddler too lots must be seen toddler abuse, once you notice that daddys little female who have been given each little thing she ever wanted quite is misplaced whilst she leaves domicile!!!
