Katie's Mom, I believe was the name, was correct. There are a couple of programs available within the navy, much of it depends on your current age, occupation (Rating), and college experience. STA-21 is the most advantageous, since it rolled many of the old programs like ECP and BOOST into one program. There are a couple of others for the medical side of the house as well. Best bet will be to get together with your Command Career Counselor and find which option works best for your situation! Good luck!

enlisted to officer is much harder and complex then what they were saying, there sevareal program out there, one if STA basically they pay u for school after u become a officer, average people whoe accept that is like E-5 or E-6 otherworld been in aleast like 4 years or more. u academic skill expect to be meet by universaries like decent SAT score. otherworld is like OCS, basically u got a bachelor aleady, alot enlisted now days has bachelor that comes in enlist dunno why, but alot of time they got low GPA which is not accparateble in OCS. basically u had to top chain of the of group to be accept, which mean u need to spend alot of time to kiss u chiefs and officer to get good recommandation first otherwhile all stuff u got get no where.

The Navy has a program called Seaman to Admiral program. You would need to talk to your Detailer for more information.
You can also try to get into the Naval Academy. The detailer can also help you with that. I hope this helps. Good Luck !!

Either through the STA (seaman to admiral) or LDO programs. STA-21 requires a college degree.

take as many college courses as possible, speak to an officer in your unit and explain your situation, get a reccomendation for ocs- if you are young and smart enough, you may try to get into annapolis. OCS may get you o-1 but the academy will get you o-6

Check with your Command Career Counseler !!
Back when I was in it was BOOST, STA, and NAVCAD... plus the standard old degree + OCS.
I went LDO... E-1 to O-3 eventually.
