I am a wife of a US Marine. I, of course support the troops and what they are fighting for but i often wonder whats in the mind of an individual who does not support this war and what alternatives are there. I am asking this from a totally mutual position and just want to hear some different perspectives and opinions.

Not only did Bush ignore Clinton and Richard Clarke, he also ignored the August 6th, 2001 briefing outlining al qaeda's plans to fly yets into buildings.

I keep reading that the Air Force and Navy are overmanned and aren't accepting as many people unless your MOS is something they need. Is this true, and if so is there a good chance of not be accepted if I haven't yet decided on a MOS?

There has been alot of talk since the war started, about pulling our troops out of Iraq. I dont agree with this because why go to war with the intention of pulling out? I dont think the american people that have lost their family members in Iraq would agree with that either because if we pulled out then they lost their family members for nothing and it was a waste of our time and the lives of our soldiers. We should stay in Iraq until our job is finished and do what we came there to do. For the sake of the Iraqi civilians and for our fallen soldiers that fought so hard. What is your opinion?

A research done by the nonpartisan, nonprofit Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism, said the number of al-Qaida members has jumped from 20,000 in 2001 to 50,000 today. the average weekly attacks in Iraq have jumped from almost 200 in spring 2004 to more than 600 this year, numbers provided by the liberal-oriented Brookings Institution think tank

Do you know why all that? because 9/11 was made by a gang of terrorists, not accepted by 99% of muslims, some of them only found it ok for the american blind support to Israel, so let america pay once 4 killing Arabs taking their lands (not for envieng the American ppl or culture- for envy why only USA, the Europian ppl, Australian and Japanise ppl r living even better)

so the stupid policy of keep invading muslim countries, calling them terrorists are brings nothing but more recruits to bin laden, prove the terrorists point of view that they r defending islam from the crusador war from the west .. so, is that what you want?

Something is seriously wrong with the War on Terror. Mainly the 9/11 attacks were denied by Bin Laden. Now we are reported that Al-Quiada is asking americans to convert to Islam..this does not make sens.

GWB is yelling on the roofs that wer are batlling Islamofascists, and that Bin laden is another Hitler. this does not make sens. Bin laden is not the leader of a country-- Bush like Adolf Hitler is.. also there is more link that Bush fasmilly helped the rises of fascism in europe and around the world by supporting every dictators..
The only Proof the US provided that mention it was Bin Laden was video annoucing, this can be counterfeited. Also this info is provided BY the US and it fabricated the reason to go to war in Iraq and other Muslim countries.. americans, you should open your eyes to the possibility that it WAS Bin LaBUsh whom organized the 9/11 attack using CIA owned and infiltrated Al-quaida networks..

Present casualties are hidden from view and figures hidden, a war pension is at most £100 a week, meaning most of us disabled vets live beneath the poverty line, and the Britsh legion only exists because of the poor pensions. Why should we veterans rely on charity? It does not help our pride.
