is America safe now from terrorism ?

Do you know why all that? because 9/11 was made by a gang of terrorists, not accepted by 99% of muslims, some of them only found it ok for the american blind support to Israel, so let america pay once 4 killing Arabs taking their lands (not for envieng the American ppl or culture- for envy why only USA, the Europian ppl, Australian and Japanise ppl r living even better)

so the stupid policy of keep invading muslim countries, calling them terrorists are brings nothing but more recruits to bin laden, prove the terrorists point of view that they r defending islam from the crusador war from the west .. so, is that what you want?

to jirwin7211: about dancing in the streets in arab countries : first i'm an arabic muslim from egypt , and nobody danced in my country , second , many people in the ME were pleased a bit by that , but not for hating the American people , or wanting the twin towers to collapse , but everytime Israel do something nasty to us , from stealing lands to killing people to distroying houses as a punishment , ...etc , it is all by the american support and the american money and the american green light .. only USA do that , even in the security council the american veto is ready against the whole world for israel . so when it happened , it was like "finally they payed for all that" not for hating USA , no , most of us even wanna immigerate to USA .. and we all expected that this hedious accident will make USA act more balanced toward arabs, becuase they were hit because that injust to them for israel, but what pro israel ppl did is they make it the opposite "we hit by muslims so let's revenge"

as i told you before , the main idea of muslim terrorists is that "we, muslims, are being hit by a crusador war from the west , all of it , so we have to defend islam and fight back all of the westerns " ..... of course this is a very extreme idea , that only 0.001% of muslims belive in .... but by the stupid thing america is doing now , it prove that extreme point of view , turns the moderate muslim into one of them who will be one day "freedum fighters" rather than "terrorists" becuase defending yourself cant be terrorism

and that is the stupid idea of Bush , he is forcing us to fight America BACK , and only increase the terrorists numbers , so is that what America want ? instead of finding the real reason for terrorism , or even dealing with it as an act from some gang , it widness it and fight everywhere , turn friends into enemies ?

p.s : 1991, Cairo , Egypt, i still remember my dancing and the people euophoria in the first day when the allied armies hit everything in Iraq and begain the war , even the Egyptian and the Syrian armies were fighting WITH USA against iraq ... now that all changed .. i'm sorry for that, because of that stupid policy who benefits only Israel and against everybody else including america

Never will be safe. We are just delaying of when we will be attacked. Terrorists are in shadow while we are in light. They can attack us in so many different /creative ways. Our troops are still there. We captured their president who we 'think' is bad to them (we decide other countries' politics and stuff??). And now it seems we are not learning and attempted to attack Iran. Of course, the president says it is for our own protections.

But from the other countries' view pt, we are indeed INVADING other countries. Don't you think other countries are not scared the US keep on invading and swallowing the land and oil and keep it to itself? Of course they will be scared. And to stop that happeneing is to avoiding the US has any excuse using military punishing base on its sole decison (remember we have ignored the UN and invaded Iraq our own..promising we will find evidence..hahhaa). People are not happy with our actions..which easily lead to the rise of terriost.

Definition of 'terriost': We started this so-called 'terriost term. WHOEVER attack the US are terriosts. This definition is really too general to define.

There is more than what you are saying. The growing insurgency in Iraq is due in part to the way the Iraqis are treated by the American troops. Who ever has had a difference of opinion with the inner circle in the white house has been systematically eliminated from the sphere of power. Many have warned the Bush boys of the consequences and many have fallen on the wayside. Bush policy is being decided by a tighter and tighter group who clearly have no concept of what should be done to secure any kind of stable government in Iraq. the Americans are turning the moderate Muslims into a very angry enemy. Those who would have been peaceful have taken offense to what the occupiers are doing and will fight to protect their rights. Good going, Bush and pals!

Actually they danced in the streets in the Arab world when the planes hit the towers. They rejoiced when they fell, they were estactic to see 1000's of innocent Americans that were just going to work that day die.

I do not believe anything that is reported as to the strength of Al-qaida. For one how do they know? and if these reporters have this knowledge of exactly how many are in each then we need to get that information so we can crush these cells.

Terrorism did not come to America on 9/11. For decades they have attacked us. From plane hi-jackings, to embassy bombings, to attacking our ships in international waters. In almost ever instance we did nothing, not even when they bomb the World Trade Center in 1993. If we did respond it was a pathetic response and the most pathetic was Somalia.

It was after Somalia that Bin Laden knew he could attack us and we would fold. He stated "America is a paper tiger" we are weak in their eyes. Why? Because we have people that refuse to see that the problem didn't start 9/11/01 it started much before that. It started long before we got involved with Israel.

These people want to impose Sharia law on the whole world. They want us all to be followers of Islam. It is not good enough to say "We will leave your countries, we will not use your oil. You just ahve to leave us alone" They might let you live a bit longer but as long as you refuse to convert to Islam you are worthless to them and are not worthy of living.

So I think the stupidity lies in those that think we can appease a very aggressive group of people. Do I believe that all Muslims are terrorist? Hell no, but I do believe there are enough that if we are not careful we will all be loosing more than just a little bit of freedom from the Patriot Act. Remember how appeasement worked in the 30's. Except then it was more visible to what the enemies were doing to those free people. There is not much difference between being enslaved by a man in the name of race superiority and a religous man that would sooner slice your throat than let you worship another god than Allah.

Don't know where to begin, but keep digging into the facts and not just look at opinions. If there is any connection (or truth to the growing numbers), it is because we've been making an impact and they know they are seriously threatened by the establishment of democracies in the Middle East. (Why do you think that THEY have made such a big deal about Iraq?)

Are we safer, on one hand yes. Since 9/11, name any other successful attack on the US. You can name a half dozen prior to the 9/11 attack (with the previous administrations going back to Jimmy Carter). But today, you can still look at our borders and shake your head and ask, when will it happen?

I could never figure out why we took our eyes of Iran and went to mess with Saddam. He was keeping the area under control. Using a man's oil to invade him before even getting concrete evidence that there were WMD's was done at a time when any hint of objection was translated as treason.

In truth, we will never be safe, too many jealous countries surround us, they all want to be top dog, but they can't do it without our support and millions and billions of our tax dollars, our military and our food supplies, they would cut their own throat to bomb us, but I dont put it past them.
