Depends on how serious your injury was. I mean if your leg can function and won't get in the way of you performing your job I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. They'll give you a full screening before you join. Besides I think the army is desperate for recruits thats why they raised the age limit...LOL (JMO I think it's funny to have a 42 yo PVT)

I had broken my leg, arm twice, nose and jaw before joining the Army. I have 2 metal plates and a pin in my jaw. I had no problem enlisting in the Army and after my enlistment was up I went into ROTC in college. You will have no problems enlisting because of a 13 year old break.

Medical records are only kept for about 3-5 years.. If you don't tell them. They won't know.
When i joined,my recruiter told me to say i had never been XRAYED before..
everyones been xrayed.. not like it hurts you,but technically that disqualifies you from joining hte army or any branch of service.
So the broken leg, as long as it isnt a hindrance now.. forget about

As long as it doesn't hamper you in any way,you should be able to join provided you meet all enlistment criteria. Your best bet would be to talk to a recruiter.P.S. Don't listen to that TWIT pompous gina, she's just another of those commie skanks that takes her lifestyle for granted,& would be the first to bit*h when she looses it.People like that don't know what they have 'till they DO loose it!!!Good Luck & Gods Speed!!

As long as it doesn't bother you anymore, you're fine. I'd various injuries before joining and didn't have any problems joining.

They will give you a physical and as long as it doesn't affect your ability's then there won't be a problem.
I've noticed most people fail it because of sight and hearing.

Unless it hasn't healed there is no reason why you can't join the military.

A recruiter will set you up with a medical exam, and they will let you know for sure.
