polish and shine your boots or shoes, write letters to your family.

After you go to Boot Camp, and then School, yes you will have 50 minutes!! It'll be like having a regular job!!

Free time? Time for what? This is recruit training, not Summer camp. Your day has been planed from 0500 till lights out. What "free time" there is, tends to be usually after mess or durring church. You have enough time to shine a boot, write a letter or read your blue jackets manual. Otherwise you will be cleaning, PTing or marching.

you get "free time" on sundays it is called holiday routine it is till about noon of so you can use this time to go to church brush up on your uniforms (ironing cloths polishing boots) also this is the time you will read the mail you get throughout the week and write letters home to family and friends.
