My husband is in the military and we have 3 kiddos, and I was wondering how the term "Military brat" came to refer to children who have a parent in the service?

What is it's origin? Did "brat" used to be an acronym for something?

Here we go again. More terrorsitic threats. The UK this time.
Don't even say I am prejudice, I am not Pre-Judging anything. It is in the news all of the time.

I used to blame religion and think the world would be a better place without religion. Now I have come to the conclusion that the world would be better without Islam. The other religions seem to be OK.

My favorite is the Thracians because they didn't turn down a fight. They were mercenaries for the Romans. They felt it was a mans place to die in battle. I like the Spartans also because seeing 100,000 of them ready for battle would have been a sight to see, their shields were very colorful as well as having shiny brass armor.

Just read that the Coast guard will allow members to wear religious head coverings as long sa they arent bright, distracting, or get in the way. If you want wear a chain with mary, or a cross. Why should this be allowed, you sign your liberties away? would like to here from left and rightists on this.

By the way im
Active duty Coast Guard serving proudly 5 years.

How strong are they?

And my strength I don't mean how many kids they can kill.

How strong are they?

HERE ARE THE CATEGORIES:

Strong enough to bombard a city and run away?

Strong enough to get their a$$es handed to them by Hezbollah?

Strong enough to get beat by real men, then bomb innocent women and children?

Strong enough to run away all the f*cking time?

How strong (cowardly) is the IDF?

The answer is clearly NO, but I won't to hear what the disbelievers have to say... An invasion of America would be impossible. Even if the entire world came crashing down on America with a massive coalition, it would still be impossible. And yes, i am accounting for the possibility that Canada and Mexico join this inevitably doomed coalition. Other countries with aircraft carriers and transport planes, (assuming they have any), would be blown out of the water or sky before they got within 2,000 miles of either coast. Hell, for that matter our Coast Guard could take on just about anything the world could throw at us...In fact, lol,,,the Coast Guard is larger than the Royal Navy...so just think about that for sec....Bottom line, if you cannot land troops on American soil...you cannot beat us...But if you think we can be invaded...I would love to hear how...Adults only please..

They have sophisticated radar tracking systems, AWACS, other flight tracking devices, why couldnt they see that 2 aircraft were heading back to NYC. Maybe the military was asleep on that day.
