I know this girl who claims her family lived there for 3 years, but she is pathological so I am curious. If there is a base, is it a normal base, where your entire family could live?

There are so many negative questions on this sight....I just want people to give some support to our troops. Leave a message and hopefully some of them will see it. They need to know that we love what they do for this country.

1. A leading U.S. Army general in World War II. In his 36-year Army career, he was an advocate of armored warfare and commanded major units of North Africa, Sicily, and the European Theater of Operations.
2. A career U.S. Army officer who became a general in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. He is best remembered for his participation in the futile and bloody assault at the Battle of Gettysburg that bears his name.
(Side note...my great grandfather participated in that assault.)

You ungrateful americans. If you can even call yourselves Americans. You just need to learn how to support your President. yeah so what there are a few things that he has done that I don't agree with. But he has done more for this country than Clinton or many other presidents. So either vote for someone else, run for office, or shut you stinkin pie hole. By the way I am not going to read your comment if you have hateful stuff to say. wait I am being hateful i guess. I am sorry i hurt your feelings. If you want then you can call a hotline and get some feel good feelings. But don't come crying to me or anyone else because you think he is being a bad president.

The troops spent one year in Iraq and then good old Bush said "Four more months" before you can go home. I wonder if they like President Bush now?

It's the Soldier, not the reporter,
Who has given us the freedom of the press.
It's the Soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us the freedom of speech.
It's the Soldier, not the politicians,
That ensures our right to Life, Libertyand the Pursuit of Happiness.
It's the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag.

In six more months it will have been 4 years since we started the war. World war two lasted just under 4 years. How come we can't end the war in Iraq? Do I hear another Vietnam?

I've heard from a friend of mine that was in the marines..The marines "program" their guys..but when they leave, they don't unprogram them. Hence this can hurt the family life. It hurts the person who left in knowing how to deal with the outside world...agree or not? If this is true...why doesn't the military make some well needed changes?
