The Devil's first and continuing crime in disobedience to God was and continues to be racism. He refused to bow to Adam when commanded to do so, because he said he was made of better stuff than Adam. Any racist is under this influence. It is racism that causes certain entities to think that one group of people's lives are more valuable than other people's lives. Racists are arrogant but also have no depth to their vision -spiritually they are one-eyed . Having no depth to their vision, they become self-centered, shallow, cruel, greedy and hypocritical in their outlook and actions. Sadly many Christians awaiting the so-called rapture , in addition to the Israeli government and governments that support it, have a similar limited view, where there is no compassion for anybody except themselves and those they feel safe to patronise. All human beings should be and are, of equal importance.

The US is basically the same thing as Israel. The US says exactly the same thing that Israel says, and it's all just as irrational and one-sided. So in your question it makes more sense to say "Why are Israel and the UN applying double standards on judging the Middle East conflict?"
That's much clearer, don't you think?
