if we asked Iran and other countries in the middle east , to disarm nukes?

why does isreal have one in the middel east and the rest of te middele east are not allowed to ? your thoughts?

Considering the fact that despite his denial of having any weapons of mass destruction Saddam's Iraq was attacked anyway and the evidence we have obtained shows that he was telling the truth, this would logically send the message to other Mideast countries that they had better arm themselves to the teeth, because not having those weapons would not exempt them from a US attack.

Part of the reason is that many of the Middle East countries that do not have nuclear capabilities have already signed the "Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty" - CTBTO for short. This includes Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and others. The CTBT obligates countries that sign and ratify “not to carry out any nuclear weapon test explosion or any other nuclear explosion.”
The other part is that some countries such as Iraq and Iran were not allowed to build certain weapons as conditions of making peace after wars they started.

USA has asked Iran not to have nuclear weapon but it is going ahead, because Iran like the USA is a sovereign state with the ultimate power to decide what is best for it. The western nuclear powers want to monopolize the nuclear technology which the Islamic countries are opposing. In the process the end of the world is becoming a near possibility.

You can find the answer in the history of the creation of the state of Israel starting with the Zionist movement. The Balfour declaration of 1914 makes clear that the establishment of the Israeli state was to look after British Imperialist interests. Now, it looks after US imperialist interests in the region.

The Israelis have also used the holocaust under Hitler now for over 50 years as an excuse to kill and destroy whoever they want. And, if there were Arabs around I'm sure that Hitler killed them too for they are the semitic cousins of the Jews. So, really the Zionist Israeli state is anti-semitic as well as anti-Christian in everyway. For the Arabs are semites too, the Zionists are really creating a lot of unnecessary anti-Jewish sentiment and orthodox Jews are opposed to this earthly state and there are many often forgotten Christians being killed in both Palestine and Lebanon.

The real question should be why does america and every other member of the "security council" have nuclear weapons?

According to the nuclear non profileration treaty, all countries with nuclear weapons should disarm as well as no new countries being allowed to develop nuclear weapons.

Double standards, how do you expect Iran to comply if you do not yourself?

Everyone has to get rid of theirs... Or everyone should have them so there is balance in the world and some countries don't think they are better armed than the rest... I personally prefer for everyone to get rid of theirs, but there are countries that will never do that... Unfortunately...

And don't tell me Iran are crazy fanatics and should not have nukes... It is the same with every other nation in the world. :)))

I agree. USA, India, Pakistan, China, Russia, USA, Israel, some country's in Europe-they all have nukes. So, I don't get it as well. It's again, American ideology spread to the world, raping us with necessity to disarm nukes in Iran.

because no one else is saying that a singular country should be wiped off the face of the earth.if you think iran is not led by a crazy leader, you are not reading the paper and informing yourself. iran's ayetollahs are worried about this nut. he feeds hezbollah all the missles they need to fire into the tiny place known as israel. he's working on the big bomb. the idiot dosn't seem to understand that once he gets the big bomb, his country will be gone as well, because they have posed a threat to the world. if it were me, i would say "wow, i did not mean to step on anyone's toes, i just wanted to take care of my country", and i would back off, in order to really take care of my country.he is not smart enough to do this. he is putting his country in jeopardy.

Thats a great question, but I think the answer is because Iran is alot more likely to use them willy nilly, they have said they want Israel destroyed or they would let terrorist groups lay their paws on them for the right amount of money. Doubtful Israel would use them unless extreme circumstances would happen.
