YES! that is supposedly the reason why they are waiting to give their answer to the nuke watchdogs. they believe that by wiping out all the infidels they will make way for the return of their savior.
It will be the biggest mistake they have ever miscalculated.

Only all the Iranians who watched the Iranian leader give a speech about how the sky will light up on that day. The Muslims are seeking to bring about the return of their missing Imam which will only happen after they destroy all the infidels. This means killing everyone but Muslims.

And people think they aren't a religion of peace!

I just read some of these answers. For those of you who doubt, you should do some research and prepare for WW3. Even though Saddam hated them, where do you think all the WMDs that Clinton was convinced they had went to?

On the Islamic calendar this date will be the 27th day of the month of Rajab of the year 1427, the commemoration of Muhammad's "night journey".

The Shiite belief is that by throwing the world into destructive chaos, the "13th Imam" will come, who is basically the Muslim messiah.

Ahmadinejad has made several references to this date.

One can't believe that God has gathered the nation of Israel back to the land of Israel just to have them nuked by this anti-Semitic Persian lunatic. Just doesn't make sense.

I don't believe that they have the capabilities as of yet to drop a bomb on the US. Furthermore, if we are in a war on terror, we need to stop kissing israel's a**. That would help a great deal in insuring our safety. Any action of the sort from Iran would be suicidal, as they would seal their demise.
I don't wish them any harm unless they harm us first.
The arab world doesn't hate America because they are "jealous of freedom and democracy" That is rediculous.
They hate America because of our governments support for israel.

This must be total crap. If Iran had the bomb(s) already, neither American or Iran would be wasting time trying to work with UN and get resolutions and so on. And Iran would not be this stubborn about it's right for Uranium enrichment.

Oh yeah!! It is in the terrorist daily news calendar under 'special events'. Right beside the classified listings for the sale of slightly used rocket launchers.

They tell you to pack for a picnic in Hawaii if you do not want to have a really bad day in the US. They recommend SPF 1,000,000 if you are going to be in Jersey or Manhattan.

No I don't think he would do that any use of nuclear missles or
bombs would bring instant retaliation and Iran would dissapear
off the face of the world.

I know that's horrible to say but it's true.

That's ridiculous. They won't have that capability in another 10 years. And there reason for acquiring nuclear weapons is solely for being a dominate player in the world.

No they lack the capability. Plus they would have just about all of the world turned against them if they attempted to use a dirty bomb.

Gee would they have anything capible of "dropping" one on us even on August 22, 2060? Probably not... further reassurance: Patriot Missles.
