We will likely never go to war with North Korea but if we do it will be a PR disaster with the U.N. and the entire world. It would cause the loss of much innocent life of those of the North Korean Peninsula and would only help to prove the North Korean leaders point that we are bullies and corrupt in our foreign and military policy. Not only that but during a war South Korea and Japan would likely be attacked by North Korea, to attempt to cause the U.S. forces to back down because of humanitarian and political pressures.

You mean North Korea - the country. Or North Koreans - the people. Well, let's see..the United States has "gone to war" against Grenada, Panama, Afghanistan and Iraq, none of which posed any serious military threat to the United States. North Korea, on the other hand, has a huge, professional and highly motivated fighting force that wouldn't be so easy to defeat. So, based on the United States' past conduct of picking on small countries with no significant military capability, I'd guess...NEVER!

N. Korea is a blackmailer for money and in no position to threaten the US unless they trade a couple of nukes to Iran for a couple of long range missiles.

Next year. Kim Jung Il is a threat to the world peace because he has nuclear bombs. If Kim Jung Il kills America then America will erase both Koreas from the map. Unfortunately thats how it works.
