If they are Israeli citizens, they have no choice.
ALL Israeli citizens, male AND female, must serve 2 years in the IDF upon reaching the age of 18....no exceptions.

There's no volunteering in the IDF.
Anyone above 16 MUST serve in the army for at least 3 years.
