So my boyfriends birthday is on July 3rd. I wanted to make a video tape of his friends and family wishing him a happy birthday. The only thing is, there is restrictions against sending tapes or cassettes over there, i'm guessing because of the heat. Do any of you know a way to get it to him? let me know how you do it too. Thanks!

My husband and i are both in the military. We work at the same dining facility. A civilian co-worker one day commented on how about how fine my husband was. My husband came and told me.
I went over to the person, and stated to her (because i wasnt sure if she knew we were married), "Do you know that Sgt. Noone and I are married?" She laughed and said no. Another co-worker who was standing there said, "We knew." Everyone laughed about it. That was Friday. On Monday, she went to the Mgr. and told him that i grabbed her up (in a threatning manner), and told her that Sgt. Noone and I were married. This is a lie, I did not put my hands on her. Is that slander? Can I sue? I will be recieving a negative counseling statement, which can result in UCMJ action.
Any anwers are appreciated!!

Obviously Al-Qaeda was a group created to fight Israel and the nations of the West, especially the US, through whatever terrible means neccesary. But why does Bin Laden twist Islamic laws and the content of the Qur'an in order to attack the US. Islam actually condemns most of his actions. Why is it still necessary for him to carry out these attacks, and why did his hatred of America reach the level it is at today? What could we have done to create his anti-American views, and are we still acting in that way? If the US stopped these actions would it make any difference in the way he acted toward America. Wondering what people have to say and why they feel that way.

This is more of a statement than a question. I saw and heard on the news about the two soldiers that were mutilated and murdered by Iraqis. It makes me mad because I feel it was unneccesary for us to be there. This all started with a lie from Bush about weapons of mass destruction when there was none. Why did'nt he use this type of force when Osama Bin Laden blew up the towers? Again, this is my opinion. Please give me yours.

My husband was in the army 4 years ago. In 2001 the army paid for his back surgery due to herniated discs. The surgery didnt make him better, in fact his conditioned worsened because the army docs took out the discs, but did not replace them with anything causing bone on bone friction. He got a medical discharge in 2002. 20% disabled with honorable discharge, then in 2004 VA paid for him to have another back surgery, The dr put titanium in place of the bad discs and also screws. He is nearly 100% better. He wants to go back in. The recruiter mentioned him signing a waiver, but we are worried that when he goes to MEPS they will turn him away, even though he voluntarily got out the first time.

I'm just wondering if anyone here has rejoined after having back surgery???

It appears to have been headed for the White House before crashing in Pennsylvania.
We know that Bush would have no hesitation in having it taken out if he thought it was a danger, especially to himself or his property.
Did Bush order the taking down of this plane?
I suspect so, knowing how ruthless this man is.

I keep watching the science channel, just about every day, just waiting for a detailed example of what America is capable of designing. and a question popped into my head thinking about our military and how advanced we are at the moment. Do yall believe that America will be the first nation to create spacecrafts able to be used for military purposes? and if not who?

It's a shame that the soldiers died the way they did. I feel for the families that have to go on without their loved ones. I can only hope for a quick and safe return of all the soldiers. Hopefully, the Iraqis will put aside their differences and rebuild their lifes. One can only hope!!

By now everyone out there knows about the 2 soilders that were mutilated in iraq . Im a solider thats stationed in iraq .They were not in my division but does it matter ounce again insurgents slaughter my comrade;s after capture .And all we can do is lower our heads and shead a tear asking ourselves why. And wondering when it's our turn.

Now every time we capture insurgents we have to treat em them as the gd geneva convention says. Every time I look at them they glare back with hate to kill And i just want to punch him in the throat and say oops it was a nervious twitch. But then again I would get slapped in prison for 1 year becuase of it .

People say that we are the bad guys we beat up prisioners ect. But you know what they are still alive and get to see there families when they get out do you think we want to be over here ask a deployed soilder see what they say .We just want to go home

Im sorry mabey this is more of a need to vent than a question but i needed to vent

I understand that there was a regime change but it appears more that the new regime in Iraq is the Bush Administration. It looks like we took over the country when that's not the case. I think the New Iraqi government should be more visible to the Arab World and start being diplomatic with other Muslim nations in that area, which could possibly quiet the insurgents.

If an 18 year old kid from anywhere else in the world can join the military, go through boot camp, go to fight in a war and is normally out of the service and home in 4 years, why is it that the coalition is still fighting in Iraq and the Iraqi's aren't even close to being ready to "step up?"

And he also thinks he is going to receive a clothing allowance for being active duty Army. I'm wondering if either of these are tru and if so how much is the clothing allowance and when should we expect to see either one?
