We are trying to get them to do it for themselves!Guess they are just slow to nurture...It does look like we rule there but we dont..we simply set some points for them and its up to them to follow thru..I think they will in time..It cant be easy and they have to deal with violence every day as they try to set goals..Good luck to them!

Put it this way....Iraq has been in control of its own country before this war started. Its people were miserable, illtreated, tortured, killed for not sharing the same beliefs.
The women had no rights. No education, could not speak up, had to sit and hide in the corner like mongrel dogs.
That is the main reason why our Governments stepped in! Obviously that tells you for a start that Iraq wasnt doing too well on its own.
As humans we all have rights. Although our rights might not be part of their religion never the less they have rights. The people were treated like animals. When I have seen what they are doing to our troops I now know why!
The new Iraqi Government has had a Prime Minister sworn in and a couple of people named, in charge of different sections.
Its been stated that once the New Iraqi Government takes over and proves that they have the country under complete control, our troops will be slowly withdrawn.
Judging from the bombings still taking place I would say that will be will be a long long time to come.
If the Iraqi people helped inform the soldiers about the rebels whereabouts/plans, they would be captured and dealt with. The Iraqis for once in their lives would have peace and our troops could come home. I guess when you put it into that perspective the Iraqis musnt mind too much the war/killings or the fact of our troops presence or they would get off their *sses and help themselves.

Bush has invaded Iraq to rule the Iraq, To kill the Iraqies and to use the Iraqi Oil. All the Tasks are being accomplished precisely by the Bush and his forces. All the rulers of Islamic countries are the part and parcel of Bush administration and they do not have any relation with their nations.

Great idea. In fact it's beginning to take place now. The Iraqi leader has recently spearheaded a plan to perform a national sweep with Iraqi troops and police in point position. The recent raids have produced a treasure trove of intel. The transition has begun and God willing it will be a fruitful one.

Now is not the right time. The Iraqi government can not even control themselves, never mind their country, which at the moment is in chaos. I understand what you are saying, but it takes time. The Iraqi's will govern their own country, but they can't do it just yet!

because if America leaves, it will be easy for a terrorist to regain control of iraq, and us sending troops back in would mean a higher death mark on U.S. troops. We need to stay and call the shots until iraq can prove to us that they are capable of taking care of themselves.
