These morons should be fired, and then charged with involuntary manslaughter at the least.

What do you think?

I know this girl who is the receptionist / building contact for an office block in London. The entrance to the building is on a very busy road next to a busy Underground station so it’s always full of tourists and others. She now hates going to work as she has been told by her employer that she is responsible for enforcing the smoking ban and making sure that tourists and other members of the public do not smoke at the entrance which is very common. She has now been verbally abused many times and been physically threatened a few times by tourists objecting to this.

She no longer wants this responsibility but her bosses don’t want to know. They just tell her it’s the law so it’s her job. She is now thinking of leaving her job. What are her rights under the Health and Safety at work act or any other employment law? No where in her employment contract does it state she is a security guard, council smoking officer or Police officer so how can she be expected to act like one now?

Thoughts?

When they go 90mph and they're not in pursuit, they are endangering everyone around them for no reason just like anyone else would be.

What do you think about people who plan and try to carry out random shootings? Are they mentally ill, victims of "bullying," or evil?

designated parking spot on private property. My husband and I were visiting friends in a time share in Marco Island, and only residents were allowed to park, but there were official handicap spaces authorize by the state of Florida, were those spaces only for the residents of that time share. We asked the management, but they did not know, but agreed not to tow our car

I want to be a cop, and the requirements for all the agencies i have looked at are either 4 years of active duty in the Military, or 60 college credits. After I get out of the Military (Marines) should I even go to college? I know the Marines will pay for some of it, but is it worth the time and the money I have to put in? Also, will college benefit me at all when it comes to promotions, or are the promotions based on performance and Merit?

I think you used to be able to find out who lived in your neighborhood/street with a cross reference book. It also told what the residents occupation was. Is there still such a book and if so can it be accessed online ?

I was pulled over by a PA state cop for speeding. But looking closely on the ticket, the date that I "sped" is in correct. It says "08" instead of "07". So technically I wasn't speeding in 2008. Who do I talk to get this taken of? Preferably not a lawyer because I don't want to pay for anything.

My sister in law has a temporary restraining order against me (she obtained it with false information, but I suppose that is irrelevant to this question). Anyhow, I was out Friday night and she showed up at the club where I was. I notified the bouncer and he had her escorted out. She argued that since she has the restraining order on me, that I should leave...but I was there first. Who is right? I know each state has different laws on this, I am in Illinois. I looked over the restraining order and I can't find the answer to my question on it. Many thanks!
