A similar thing happened to some sardines that belonged to an acquaintance. They were sent up the river for life. It could have been worse, the pilchards got three years in the can.

Oh my, that poor thing. Maybe if she bats her eyes and smiles sweetly at the judge, she can get her sentence commuted like Paris Idiot did and only have to swim 23 days ;)
