because people are over-reacting about it, that they accuse other people as racists as if racism is a criminal offense? racism, in my opinion, is just simple opinion about other race, so what's wrong with it?

and if I may add, it's an idiotic belief that there's no such thing as race, because there is, and don't tell me that there's on one race, which is the human race, because it's crap.

I'm going to take a physical fitness test to be a police officer and they told me this is one of the things I would be doing. If anyone has any idea on how hard this is to do, I'd really like to know.

... or do they?

Re-offending rates of former inmates are really high. I can't remember the rates for other countries but they are similar enough to NZ rates: 87% re-offend within 5 years. More than 1/2 of them go back to prison. And 70% of the youth that re-offend go back to prison.

So what do prisons do well? (keeping the community 'safe' for a time...) and what do they fail at? (everything else...). What are they main purposes of prisons?

Why do prisons not work? Why do rehabilitation programs not work? Does the prison overcrowding problem need to be dealt with, do alternative methods need to be considered, does everything (especially rehabilitation programs) need to financed heaps more? And if this happens, will 'prisons work'?

I saw an ant running around with its ant-like family. I put on the most diesel pair of boots I could find and I stomped on them. I lifted up my boot and say them wiggling in pain, and so being a good citizen I stomped on them again, and again, and again. I feel so miserable, and I don't know what to do. What will become of me next, stomping on people? I don't want to stomp on people. I just want help. I'm tired of stomping on bugs.

I got a parking violation for parking at a street that had the following rules: No parking from 6pm-8am nightly. 2 hour parking from 8am-6pm daily. Exempt for district 37 residents.
I parked here at 11am for 20 minutes which falls into the right time stated. There was no sign anywhere that says you CANNOT park here if you are not a district 37 resident. Exempt means to free from an obligation or liability to which others are subject, meaning they can park here anytime (if I'm correct). Through the crappy scribbles of the parking enforcer I found out that I was not supposed to park there without some sort of liscence, yet no sign stated that on the whole street. Does that exempt thing have another lawfull definition? Or should I go petition this?

P.S. All cars parked on this side of the street had a ticket except a few. Some had that district 37 pass others did not. Could this be a flaw in the laws stated and an exploit to law enforces to push money out of people?

Well I'm in 8th grade at my Catholic School. One day last week, we only had to go for like an hour. It's an 8th grade tradition at our school. You come to school for a special 8th grade prayer service the rest of the school works on, and you get the rest of the day off. So we we're done with school at like 9. Lots of us just hung out at the school's playground. At about 10:00, we realized the mall was opening, so we went over there. We walked around for a little bit and saw a cop heading to Dunkin' Donuts. But he saw us and told us to come here. He asked why we were not at school, he was not informed of the schools being out. We told him about the prayer service. He didn't buy it. So he handcuffed both of us behind out backs and took us to the school. We stayed in the car while he talked to our principal. He came back and said, we were telling the truth. I assumed he was taking us back to the mall, but we arrived at the police station. He led us to a holding cell (just big enough

For a couple weeks he has been trying to convince a 17 year old waitress of his to give him her virginity. Last week he finally convinced her to let him give her oral sex. The girl is my little sister and I know there are many things wrong with this situation. What can he get in trouble for? What should I do? Help!

Why did the Sheriff drive by when my dad visited? Nothing ever happens in this neighborhood. My dad did not do anything except wear an Italian American hat. He was being loving.

I know the routine. Something bad will happen to me, and the community will declare that it is her family. "If she would just cut them off, everything would be ok for her" they would say. If I question their little comments, then I am being too suspicious.

What can I do? I have some ideas to run by you...

1. get married to the right man
2. become a millionaire in order to get respect
3. change jobs every time it looks like prejudice
4. move far away
5. end contact with all family members
6. call the police to tell them how to do their jobs
7. spend money I don't have for a lawyer
8. enroll in college and go bankrupt, so everyone is happy
9. stop voting and they will go away
10. don't be a Christian either, they will hate you

I don't know what to do. It should be peaceful here...
