Really desperate here....
on 6/15 around 7-8pm I accidently ran a red light at the intersection of Brea Blvd and State College Blvd in city of Brea.
I know for sure there is a camera and a sign says words like "red light violators will be fined $271.00". I don't recall a flash went off, and if I remembered correctly, the light had probably just turned to red when I passed maybe 1/4 of the intersection.
Can anyone please tell me if I've been photographed or not? Is it possible for them to photograph w/out the flash? If I've been photographed, I have to know right? since it's probably hard for me not to notice the flash? I was not stopped by a police. Please tell me how would I know if I'll be receiving a ticket (besides wait for the ticket), if I was really photographed, how long will it take for the ticket to come? Thanks......really desperate here!!!

I live with 3 other bachelor roommates ages between 21-26.

A few weeks ago I had just returned home from a trip and I didn't get into my house until about 10PM. I came home to one of my roommates throwing a party for his birthday. At about 1AM officers were called to our home for a noise disturbance. Being that I was the most sober and the home-owner had passed out already I answered the door. The officer simply said "We have better things to do, turn down the music, we don't want to come back". I turned the music down and went to sleep. An hour later my roommate throwing the party wakes me up and says the police are back (music got turned back up) and they only want to talk to me. As soon as I walk outside they placed me in cuffs and eventually ended up citing me for "disorderly conduct". I don't think I should have recieved this charge. I am the one who respected the officers enough to even answer the door. Not too mention there was a house of 30+ others that didn't recieve one.

s). I subsequently had an 'harassment warning' placed against me. My 'sister' had previously said that she wanted no contact with me for no good reason. My brother-in-law has always resented the fact that they looked after me from the age of 14, when my mother died. I had to put up with various forms of abuse from him from the age of 14 - mental abuse. And latterly being ignored and being described as a 'neighbour' (I live next door to them), rather than as a member of the family. I have put up with his sickening behaviour for 26 years. He has now achieved what seemed to be his ultimate goal of excluding me completely and cutting me off from what was effectively my only family. My 'sister' started to treat me really badly about two years ago, and so this has seemed to be her goal too. I have suffered badly mentally and physically as a result. Four weeks after the 'harassment' warning, I injured myself quite badly, panicked and went to them for help, they pulled the curtain and

yesterday I was at the beach and was walking back and saw a police officer ticketing a car for parking in a no parking zone. The windows on the car were down and he opened one of the locks by hand through the window and started looking through the whole car since the owner wasn't around. I didn't see the rest of what he did but, I was wondering if this is legal for an officer to do.

Incident 1.)I was standing alone and was bumped into by a security guard who was assisting other staff in kicking someone out and just like that he grabbed me from behind (no provocation) and tried to push me down, when I resisted (with no violence) 3 other event staff came and forced me out. Incident 2.)One of my buddies was drunk and had sprained his ankle in the mosh pit he was in no condition to stay there and asked a guard he was talking to if I escorted him back to the hotel would they let me back, the staff member said just show them your wristband at the front , when I did another staff member said I had to leave the premises they did not allow re-entry and as I started to reason with him a police officer observing us told me to leave so I did. Incident 3).I was standing in front of the bar with 2 drinks in my hands one I ordered one my buddy bought me a guard asked me to follow him out. They ID'd me, saw I was 21 than said I was wobbling, leave or give up my wristband.

Not sure if anybody can help me out but In May of 2002 I was arrested in Indiana. I was charged with a misdeameanor and a felony. Not to get into to many specifics I never resided in Indiana and was only there for school. In 2003 a judge issued a bench warrant for my arrest that I am just now finding out about. When I talked to a lawyer he said that from that point the Statue of Limitations is tolled and doesnt apply.

My question, I live in Florida I want to resolve this issue. From what I understand I have two options, go up there and turn myself in or hire a lawyer to try and resolve it. I dont want to go up there and have to spend a week or more in Jail for some BS, and i am not sure if the lawy . Once I am arrested for the bench warrant does the statue of Limitations then go back in to effect and therefore the charges are dropped? Also if I did turn myself in how long would it take to resolve everything, meaning getting a court if nessescary and so on. Any help would be appreci

A person I live with has been experiencing mental problems for years now and only now does it grow to the point of being serious. I do not fear for my safety at the moment however I would like to know in case I am threatened and action is taken. Is mental illness taken into account when filing restraining orders and if so, how is it effected?

(I live in WA if that makes any difference.)

Thanks in advanced.

Hello All
I subscribed a mobile connection from Reliance Smart Card(Life time). After some month of connection, companies minimising talk value for the Life time Members very frequently.

When I was subscribed .... Their were topup recharge of Rs.50, Rs.60,Rs.100 etc. and talk time was after deduction of Service Charge(12%)

After couples of months company close these recharge coupons. and issued card with Rs.110, Rs.200, Rs.300.
Instead of this they decrease talktime value from 60% on the name of 12% tax and Administrator charge.
Rs.110=Rs.60 Talk time
Rs.200=Rs.110 Talk time
Rs.300=Rs.225 Talk time

Now they again decrease the talk time value from Rs.60 to Rs.40 from Rs.110 recharge coupons.

I feared that al last their will be only administrative charge not Talk time value.
** I can not change this number becuase I have distributed this on a wide area and will suffere in huge loss if change.

I want to fill a case in Consumer Forum of India If it applicable.

tks

A minor age 14, was approached by California law enforcement for questioning. Teen request that his mom be present. Both officers refused. He was told if he didn't answer without a parent he would be arrested and placed in juvenile hall through the weekend. We questioned one officer about what we witnessed. He told us that they didn't have to allow a parent to be present, only a lawyer if the child requested it. We insisted that it wasn't right and was told to produce the code and they would change their tactics.
As a parent, my concern is that the minor may not understand the miranda and its consequences. I know my own children are quite niave and probablly wouldn't know when to ask for a lawyer. You want them to cooperate but at the same time protect their rights. Thank you
