I was arrested in May of 2002 for a minor drug charges while attending school. A deal was struck where if I did community service then the charges were deferred. I didnt go back to that school and havent been in Indiana since. I recently found out that there was a bench warrant issued for me late 2003, which I was never notfied of ever.

Do the statue of Limitations apply to the orginal offense that happened in 2002?

The statute of limitations only applies to bringing charges, not enforcing the punishment once there has been a conviction. And did you give the court your new address, so they would know how to reach you to serve you with the bench warrant? if you were supposed to be performing community service, and you hadn't completed it yet, you needed to let the court know your whereabouts.
