Hey my brother is living in one state and me in another. He is behind on his child support and wanting to come and stay with me long enough to work and save the money to pay it off. He says he can't pay it off if he stays in town because they (the cops) have a warrant, know where he works and lives and will arrest him before he has a chance to pay it off. I would really like to help him, but can I get into any trouble if I do? We don't have any other family for him to turn to, and I certainly can't afford to pay it for him, but then again I don't want him to stick around there and end up in jail for a year when he could come here and save the money to pay it off in a couple months. What should I do? He says that they won't come here looking for him, and that as long as he doesn't get into trouble he'll be safe. Is this a viable option? Any feedback would be appreciated.

2 days ago, I decided to do a drift using my handbrake in the snow. then, out of nowhere a cop pulls into the street I was on (with my car at a slant in the street). So i just start to drive off, he didn't pull me over or anything. I'm thinking that he didn't see me and he assumed I did a K turn or pulled out of a spot or something. But, being paranoid, I'm thinking he wrote my plate number down and I'll get a ticket in the mail. I'm wondering can I even get that? I figure he would have just given me the ticket on the spot. thx in advance for any answers.

A friend of mine was murdered with an Eastern European Makarov gun. According to the newspapers, this gun fires an unusually large bullet that does not leave a ballistic pattern when it leaves the barrel.

Is this true?

I got a speeding ticket for going way over the limit a while ago, and they sentenced me to a year of probation for it, with the terms being that I have to meet with a probation officer once per month and I am not allowed to leave the state of North Carolina until August. I need to fly to Wisconsin however. My question is, would my airline ticket purchase go into any data record that my probation officer could find out about and know I left the state, or would I be fine to do that? thanks

so i was running late to my boyfriend's soccer game. i was speeding, im not going to lie, but i was only going about 63 or 54 in the 55.

an ohio state trouper came towards me, i braked slightly. he then proceeded to pull right in front of me, turn around, turn his light on and off again and pulled me over. he approached the car and i told him my drivers side window didnt roll down, so i had to open the door to speak with him. he then told me to drive off of the road into a residential drive way. he then approached my vehical and began questioning me. he asked if id ever had a ticket before, and i had not. then he stated he would leave me with a warning. then he asked if i knew how fast i was going. keep in mind that i was freaking out. i told him i knew i was going a little fast, maybe 65 or 70. he then said that 70 was 15 miles over the limit and said he changed his mind and was going to cite me.
he opened my pas.door wo consent, &shut my glove compartment door. what should i do?

I just joined the Navy, scheduled to leave for basic training in June. A week after I swore in and signed my contract my Navy recruiter calls me and says that MEPS did my background check and I have a warrant from not completing my community service hours from a "Theft Under $300" charge from 1998, but my recruiter, a few other people and i have called the central processing staion, the court houses, court clerks, and police stations, and they all say there is no record of me having any warrants. Now the Navy might not want to take me in, how is this possible???
