Do you mean the IR8A? Are you stationed in Singapore?

Don't worry, in accordance to Income Tax Act, it is an offence for an employer to hold your form for so long. But you still can file your returns by calculating your own annual employment income. You don't really need to file returns if your annual income falls below S$22,000 in Singapore. Totally exempted.

Why did you go and break his nose? You can beat him up without breaking bones or causing blindness or deafness, and this case would be under civil sue (Voluntarily Causing Hurt). No jail, no fine. Just compensation. Once there are broken bones, it becomes a criminal offence.

Learn the law. Then exploit the loopholes. Knowledge is power.

By law, ALL W-2's must be in the mail by January 31st.
If you haven't received yours then maybe they have the wrong address - in this case it would have been returned to them. If they have the correct address but someone else stole it - then go the employer and demand a copy of your W-2. If they refuse to give it to you - then go to IRS and report them!

It looks like there isnt too much you can do there. Maybe call the IRS or go to IRS.gov and request another W2.

contact the IRS. They are required to have them to you before Jan 31st, or they can be fined.
