She feels threatened by him, she doesn't know if she should take the gun herself to the police station or if she should just give them a call, he wouldn't give it to them willingly.

I was caught tampering an Off-peak car coupon and most likely be fined a maximum of 10k, looking at how all the previous cases had been dealt with. I have indeed learnt my lesson and would like to put this unfortunate incident behind. But I don't think I can make a lump sum payment of 10K. Can I pay through instalment? And how do I even qualify?

Is There A Way To File A Harrassment Report Anonymously?
If you don't know my situation can you go back to my last question. My big problem with this guy is he's mentally unstable and I live at home with family (with three small children), but I go to school so I'm not there all day and I don't want to alarm them. I'm 19 years old by the way. Help please and yes I'm serious.

Plus if I call the police what can I say since it was my friend calling them and I'm the one who gave her his number.

Her mother, called the police, They were both arrested and released a few hours later..

One went to court a few weeks later, out on bail, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail?

Sex offenses are considered an illness requiring treatment, if an offender serves his jail time and refuses treatment during that time they will be confined to mental health institutions until deemed no longer dangerous by the court. Whats your state doing with these sick monsters?

I have been looking for a California penal code that forbades teachers from forcing students to come in to there class during break time ex. lunch/brunch, and do work. I know there is a penal code that states that breacks are student's personal time and should not be violated. If you could find the penal code that states this please respond. My teacher forces us to come every Friday brunch and do work in her class. The students who fail to show up, loose a big percentage of their grade. If you could find the penal code I would be very greatful. Thanks a lot for your help!

I was researching something else and came across this article & wondered if anyone had an idea about it. Id love to go across the border and get some of my medications for cheaper but I am unsure of it... Because as this article states, it is LEGAL in the border control agents, but not texas state law. So, you still need to declare your meds & then hope a state trooper doesn't stop you afterwards... I guess that is my understanding of it?

Here is an excert from the article:

There is a major discrepancy between federal law and Texas state law that creates a major headache for anyone trying to understand drug regulations. Federal law, observed by U.S. customs agents at he border, allows prescriptions from foreign countries to enter the United States. But under Texas law, observed by police and state troopers, stricter guidelines make illegal to being prescriptions filled in Mexico into the state.
is it just texas it is illegal in OR new mexico-arizonia and other states?

Instead of looking and acting professionally police officers are now dressed in only half of their uniforms and in many instances act worse than thugs. They treat suspects like scum and yet a police officer has just been done for molesting a child and another for deception over who was driving his car when caught speeding. He delayed that for long enough to be granted a pension (at least that is being investigated and he is to spend time in jail when all he needed was to come clean and pay his fine like all law abiding citizens. PS. Please remove the gum from your mouth before speaking to suspects.

Should I report a spreeding driver to Crimestoppers or to our local Police? I want to stay anonymous as this chap is a likeable bloke but when he gets behind the wheel he is downright dangerous. Every night he takes his girl-friend home, about 5 miles away down winding country roads, with speed-limits, and he seems to be trying to beat his own record. He has got it down from 29 mins to 17! Something has to be done to stop him before he kills himself, his girl-friend or some other innocent person. Can't say anything to him myself - he's young, I'm old, so he'll probably tell me to mind my own business.

I'm thinking of suing someone. In 2002, I co-signed on a car loan application with a "friend." Needless to say, the"friend" did'nt make the payments and, wound up losing the car. I'm want to sue because, I had made payments on the car, and becuase, this "friend" had acquired tickets on it. I thought I had paid off all the tickets 2 years ago, when I just received another ticket in the mail 3 days ago. Financially, I can't afford a lawyer. I make too much money for legal aid in my state ($12,000 or less in illinois). I've spoken to a few lawyers only to be told there's nothing they can do. Have I passed the statute of limitations? How can I pursue this.

During class, the teacher was angry at my son for playing with a little piece of plastic, he walked up from behind him and smacked my son on the side of his abdomen, while yelling at him. One of the other students told my son "He hit you hard, you should report him" We (my husband and I) decided our son and our younger children might suffer torment from teachers or principals in the future if we pursued the issue, and we live in a very small town, and didn't want to cause a huge scene. Ironically, after we did nothing, the same teacher has continued to pick on our son and is now giving him detentions for ridiculous things that are not at all worthy of detentions. We contacted the county prosecutor and were advised to file an assault report with the police. We finally did that, two days ago, and now the police will "investigate" and get back with us. Is there something else we can do to ensure justice considering the police are friends with the teachers, small town cover-ups,etc.

When victims have been beaten and call for help, they are asked what might have caused the beating. In some cities in the U.S. when the victim turns the abuser in for something illegal like marijuana the victim also gets arrested. There are cases where the abuser even admits ownership of the illegal substance. Many victims claim that they should not be responsible for what their spouse or partner participates in. Many of them are in enough danger trying to escape the violent relationship and cannot imagine trying to control the illegal habit of the abuser.
