I live in Arkansas and I seriously doubt that there is a warrant for your friend (you?) from so long ago. She (you?) should go to the district court nearest where the offense occurred and ask the court clerk.
If she (you) didn't pay the ticket, then there may have been a failure to appear charge/warrant issued.
Trust me that no one is going to lock anyone up over this, and I seriously doubt that they will even be able to find a record.

It depends on how was the law 12 years ago, it could be $50 or $50 plus interests. I don't think there is an arrest warrant, unless your friend ignored a judge ordert to apear in court; but fines don't go away so give them a call and ask them what do you need to do to pay the fine and how much it is now. But again don't let peole scare you, for $50, just pay and move on.

I would call the County and find out if there is in fact a warrant still out. After 12 years ago there may not be, but if there is just pay the fine and go on about your business. Ask the clerk what the fine is and if you can mail a money order to them to clear up the matter.

this will ahve to be determinned by a judge in a court of law
their are 2 ways to get this resolved
1 get arrested by being pulled over and most certainly their IS a warrant out go to jail go before a judge
pay fine or do time or both
2 put yourself on the docket, get a court date
go to court pay fine or do time

I will suggest this
dont get a lawyer
if the judge sees ya got a lawyer
then he may slap it to ya

Arkansas' Most Wanted!!I'd pay the fine, see if nothing else happens. If she gets summons'ed,the judge will recognize the effort, and if he thinks it's amusing[which it is]probably dismiss
