My brother and I are Lebanese and we have many jewish friends (my little bros best friend is jewish) He's in 7th grade.

He wasnt singing a Song for Hanakuh (sp?) that was in hebrew and his other friends were not singing it either. He is the only Arab kid in his class....well his teacher stops class and points him out and says

"why arent you singing the song"

and he said it was because he didnt like it.
(and i admit its a pretty stupid song but its not stupid because its in hebrew...its just not a very nice song)

Well his teacher called him a racist.

My question is...Is there any legal action i can take against this teacher?
Can I get this chick fired???

well as any older sister would tell her brother.. i told him that the next time she says anything even close to being racist that he could beat the crap out of her but i want to take it a bit further and get her in trouble.

(Just because we're lebanese doesnt mean we hate jews)

Any effective and safe ways to approach conflict? For example, if someone pulls out a gun immediately or begins to raise his temper, what's a good way to ensure the safety of the individual, yourself, and surrounding community? Thanks in advance. Greetings!!

My friend was sitting at a red light, motorcycle cop pulled up behind. Started eyeing registration tags and called them in apparently. Pulled my friend over, said he stopped him for windshield but then saw expired tags. Asked my friend to show registration, insurance and driver's license. Friend was driving a truck that didn't belong to him - it's one of his worker's. So he opens the glove and console - no registration, no insurance papers. His own driver's license is expired by 1 month (not it's not ok - he's not taken the time to do it, you know how that goes). This expired license is also out of state (we're in California). Cop then told friend to get out of car, cuffed him, sat him on curb. Truck was impounded. Friend's bail was $3,000. My question: Is this the norm for a situation like this, spending the afternoon in jail and bail like that? What happens now? Doesn't this worker have to pay anything? It wasn't his truck, and he wasn't told by the owner.

Karen runs a business which imports cheap cigarettes into Scotland from the remote Central Asian Republic of Wazirstan. These products have proved to be popular with Scottish smokers at a time when tobacco prices have risen sharply. Karen is shocked to be informed that the Scottish Parliament had now bought in legislation {The Regulation of Foreign Tobacco Products (Scotland Act 2005), after medical studies showed that people who smoked these Waziri cigarettes were on average 100 more likely to develop cancer when compared to smokers of other tobacco products.

As a result of the new legislation, it is now a criminal offence to offer to sell/supply these products. Karen has huge consignments of cigarettes presently sitting in her warehouse currently waiting to be delivered to her business customers. Many of these business sutomers have now cancelled their orders as a result of the introduction of the new legislation.

Do you think the overcrowding in prisons could be reduced by reinstating the death penalty for murder, this would also save money as the tax payer would not have to keep so many lifers
