They send a copy of the arrested person's file to their state crime information center where it is place into computers. the file is also sent to the National Crime Information Center in Washington D.C

Fingerprint, tattoo records, hight weight, hair and eye color are all entered or sent into the Federal FBI data base system.

Many police use computer records, but these are all keep forever to floow him if he is arrested again or needed for information
