With America being a multi cultural society, KKK or any other group portraying racial hatredness and other nagative stuffs should be completely wiped out.One thing KKK should understand is that they also came to America as every other people did. So if they want to practice their stuffs they better find their root and go do it there. America is for every one, we are supposed to be living in a civilized world and not stone ages.

While I don't agree with their edicts, I am a firm supporter of an American's right to free speech. Of course acts of violence or intimidation will not be tolerated stemming from what they believe. However, they have a right to their beliefs and as soon as we start tryng to curtail that, we are setting a dangerous precident.

My family has supported organizations that seek to prosecute members of the KKK for decades. For too long they've been able to get away with illegal activities and that needs to stop. Thankfully, they have been more successful in successfully prosecuting members that maybe finally, they'll realize there is no room for their brand of hate and violence.

The KKK are allowed in this country because the Constitution allows them to practice their Freedom of Speech just like the NAACP and other minority, women's rights, anti-war and gay rights protestors are allowed. You don't have to subscribe to their teachings or philosophies but they have an equal right to march or protest like anyone else. Being a Caucasian widow of a Chinese man I find them as an abomination on the human race.

Only fair if also abolished were the nation of Islam , NAACP . La raza , JDL , etc ...but doing any of this would sorta/kinda be a violation of people's constitutional rights to free speech and assembly.

I think we need to let them do their thing. What better way do we have of pointing out to others exactly what stupidity looks like. They say they are proud but they hide their faces behind white masks. They run around spewing hatred about groups of people who are not ashamed to show their faces, yet they are proud to be wearing white. I say let them go, keep the dummies all together so they will leave the rest of us alone.

How do you propose this is done? It's been around a long time. I'd rather have these nut jobs visible doing their hate march than for them to go underground and doing a bunch of subversive things like they used to.

It is a legal organisation? It is not worse than any other supremacist organisation- black panthers, la raza, etc? Sure, it might smell a bit funny, but what the heck, people have the right to associate with whom they want.

in order to take it away, youd probably have to kill all the members. granted, its not a cool bunch, but you get rid of them and whos next? as wrong as it may be, they have the right to believe what they want.
