I live in a triplex. My neighbor and I have been getting sick and are smelling oders that we believe are drugs. My landlord says he needs proof from the police before he can do anything. So I wanted to know what would happen if I call the police.

A friend of mine has a criminal record that is ten years old, but is concerned about having to travel abroad for upcoming business assignments. He was told that an immigration attorney may have advice that might protect him from foreign intervention. He was given a hard time at the Canadian border years back. Any advice?

I'm not sure if any of you analyzed the arrest of 50 cent in his $300,000 Lamborghini Murcielago but basically:

rapper 50 Cent (aka Curtis Jackson) was arrested around 2:00PM in Manhattan on Friday. Law enforcement officials in an unmarked car pulled over the star's silver Lamborghini at the corner of 8th Ave. and 35th Ave. in Midtown New York after they say he made an unsafe lane change.
Police tell TMZ they removed Fiddy from his car and cuffed him in front of several witnesses. Because of the crowd that began gathering around the scene, cops determined it to be an unsafe situation so they took him to a police station down the street from the scene. The car was not towed as police tell TMZ there was no reason to impound the car.

Police issued 50 four summons: one for an unsafe lane change, one because his driver's license had expired, one because his Lambo is unregistered with the state and another because the car is also uninsured. He was issued the tickets and released.

We were 15 minutes into Reno, Nevada passing through the downtown area when my dear sister received a traffic citation for driving 30 in a 15mph zone. Only one car was ahead of her that separated me in the front. She was following me as a I was the lead car of two. I watch in the rear view mirror as she was being pulled over and cited from beginning to end.

Earlier we passed a motorcycle police officer that had pull over other driver. While my sister was being cited, we saw other driver pulled over this time by a squad car.

The officer was both austere and condensing towards my sister who had believe it or not never received a traffic ticket.

Questions arouse my mind as to how long does a radar gun need to obtain a speed reading. Do police just need a split second to read? Do police officers who use radar gun wait for the highest reading?

Also, we were out of state at the time and cannot appear personally to challenge so my sister is stuck paying ticket. Advise

OK. What happens if you go to a 'bad' party, are underage, and get caught by the cops. You did not drink or smoke--it's guilty by association. You don't have a cell phone, no ID or anything. You refuse to tell the cops who you are, your age, or anything. None of your friends are there either. The cops can't figure out who you are. What do they do with you?

A former friend stole my credit card and charged stuff to my card. I prosecuted her and she was told to pay me $10,000 in restitution. She never paid a dime, instead she fled from Pennsylvania to Oregon. I contacted authorities there who pretty much said I am screwed because her crime was not serious enough for Pennslyvania to extradite her. Is there anything I can do or am I really screwed?

I am going for jobs in the upper echelon of law enforcement and they all require a Top secret security clearance. What areas do the investigators check besides credit history and arrest history? I have an impecable record when it comes to the aforementioned areas. However, I did smoke a few joints, but that was over 10 years ago.
