I got car accident, fortuntely I didnt get hurts, only my car got big damages, the fault driver's insurance refused to pay me full repairs. only very little portion of repair estimates. my insurance policy is liability only, I do not have money to pay the full repairs. So i hv to sue faultdriver at small claim court. Now it will be final step - Jury Trial hearing. The defendent got attorney who was hired by his insurance, I do not hv attorney since my case is too small, only property damage without personal injury. no attorney would like to take it. I won the Arbitration hearing, but the defendent attorney filed appeal to the court against the arbitration decision. Now I dont know how to prepare Jury Trial hearing and paper including 1, opening statement of case; 2, Jury instruction; 3, Motions in Limine; 4, Additional questions i'd like court to ask during voir dire; 5, Settlement offers; 6, Settlement Autority. Who can advice me how to write those papers and what to speak?

It seems to be a money thing.A man riding around with a friend in a car that is kinda of beat up is gonna get pulled over for something.Dont see a lot of fine cars being pulled over.If they really want to fight crime, they should go patrol in the projects but they scared to do that, besides aint no money in it.

It seems that the police now spend more time filling in reams of paperwork, being given massive caseloads and worrying about some scrote's human rights than actually being allowed to to do their jobs.

Agree or disagree?

My temper flared when the calls to my mobile and the SPAM on my mobile began back in 2002. I shut off the messaging, and added my mobile to the ‘do not call list’. Had the list never been created, I would have eventually committed an act of violence against one of these offenders, if I knew their location, and it was within days drive. I would have done this to make an example of them. I would have very likely done a lot of property damage. I would not have hurt anyone unless they tried to stop me.

Have such acts been committed in the past? Were Juries sympathetic? What was the outcome?

I looked up the prison address on Google and wrote, saying that I would pay for one of his paintings, which I want to sell for way more than I pay for it. He didnt write back, whats up with that, hes sitting rotting away in a jail cell, its not like he has anything better to do.

A few nights ago, I was at a friends house and we were all drinking, but it got pretty late so I got 2 of my friends to walk me home. About halfway there, 2 sheriffs pulled over and told us to sit on the curb. They took our names and ages, etc, and tried to call our parents. (By the way, I'm 16, my two friends were both 17 yr old guys.) While one of the sherriffs was calling, the other one asked to search my purse. I was sober by then, so I told him no. He asked me about 4 times after that, every time I said plainly, No. He then said he was "sick of my bullshit", grabs the purse and searches through it anyways. Isn't that illegal?

How exactly does this work? Say you are chanrged with something like a burglary or theft and you are not prosecuted within a certain amount of time, do the charges no longer stick? I know that only murder has no statute of limitations right?
