It seems to be a money thing.A man riding around with a friend in a car that is kinda of beat up is gonna get pulled over for something.Dont see a lot of fine cars being pulled over.If they really want to fight crime,they should go patrol in the projects but they scared to do that,besides aint no money in it.

I do have insurance.The only reason that I mentioned the projects is cause there is to much crime in them,our children needs a safe place to grow up.

well pops the projects are dangerous them nigars got guns.Why should they put themself in danger?All they gotta do is keep the court room full of good honest working people and it looks like thier doing their jobs.It's all about the dollar.If they can write a citation for your poor a ss running a stop sighn they get the fine for the ticket plus court cost.that all they want.Your money.Protect and serve is just a joke.All they serve is the working man more tickets he got to try and pay.

Um. I get ticketed all the time. I drive a 2006 BMW 550. I think I get pulled over so much BECAUSE I drive an expensive car.
I got a new speeding ticket last week!
I think if cops pull over beat up cars more, its really to check that the driver has insurance. I hate having to pay out because some irresponsible jerk without insurance decided to run into me and would never make enough money in his lifetime to pay to repair my car. Those drivers SHOULD be pulled off the road.

Traffic tickets were only designed to give more revenue for the Citys and states, they do not prevent accidents from happening, nor do they slow anyone down.
Cops write tickets because their supervisors and the chief of police is always riding them to write more tickets, so they write what ever they see in their shift.
It's all about the state and local stats, also the cops get best shifts, raises, and better days off based on how many tickets they can write.

Contrary to popular belief Police officers do NOT have a quota. If you really pay attention you will see that most of the cars that get pulled over are around 5yrs old. So I don't understand why you think they only pull over old cars. And fewer tickets are written than you actually think just because someone gets pulled over doesn't mean that they are going to get a ticket. I think that you should pay closer attention and attempt to imagine just what there job entails because it is not just pulling people over there is a lot more involved

Sounds like you got a ticket. BUT Don't put ALL COPS in the same bed so to speak. NOT all are of this image you are talking about. Some cops go with attitude. If you get stopped and come across defensivly like hey man what you stopping me for. I ain't done nutting wrong. Well most likely your gonna get a ticket. If you come across nicer you'll most likely drive away with nothing except a warning if that. BUT once you have made your attitude made or known to the cop. THIS is what he will remember you by. SO in this case get another car that isn't a rust bucket.

1 Because of money,2 cause they can, and 3 because they are against the law lol....ah lol. You see all the real people in this world are standing up and fighting back from these legal terroists. People need to wake up and realize Peace officers arent on our side. Theres no peace about it. They consider normal citizens scum and the sooner people realize it the better off they will be. Go to court and fight that ticket. if you are guilty pay the fine, if your not guilty and its real stupid take it to trial. Let the above the law nerds foot the bill.."

you know for the almighty dollar, taxpayers pay there wages, and then we get to pay court costs, lawyers to stand up for us, a percentage goes to the prosectors and judges. Tell me why in Webster County, Mo, when my mom called because her bf was flipped out why they asked her to meet them some where instead of making the damned house call, because they become cops cuz they were picked on earlier in life and have a vendetta with the public. an ex cop told me this week, 50 percent are crooked, 80 percent have no ethics, and 100 percent are buttholes. :)

if its in nigeria, they do not write tickets but issue you a "verbal receipt". they find all ways to make you part with some money. things like "you have two different tyre brands on your car" "over speeding at less than 50km/hr" "where is you party cola (particular)" or things like keeping you waiting till you just get tired and give them some money. you really have it better over there if the issue you tickets.

Money! The states I lived in where the roads were bad, and they didn't even have nice alleys in back of their homes, hardly ever gave tickets. In Washington state the roads are great, all the homes have PAVED alleys. Wonderful sidewalks everywhere. So if you see a nice pretty city, slow down quick.
