Police Officers have a job to do...Protect and Serve! Yes, some get out of hand however, have you watched the news? They have to stand firm and protect themselves. If that requires being a little bit of a bully...so be it! Do you think someone will back down from a timid cop? No...they will shoot them!!! They are human...like all humans there are good and bad!

i don't care if they have peckers even or not... but the point is... i believe that they were once bullied before. they saw how horrible it was so when they're cops... it's granted that they have some sort of power i.e. giving out tickets. so they take full advantage and give them out to whoever they feel like for whatever small the violation may be. cops are not cool people. they're only cool to you if you're family. if you met them individually you would NOT back them up. they have deep dark secrets that i know most of us don't even know. they break the same rules that they give out tickets for. how fair is this? that's why it's safe to say that they do have power trips... no joke

Personnel I think that some cops do abuse their power but it not necessarily because what happened to them has kids but alto of times when someone puts that shining badge on they tend too feel like they can do anything for instance ounce back when i was 19 i was pulled over following some friends too a party in downtown Denver the two officers at the time basically threat end too take me on an ally ride which basically means drive to a secluded spot and whoop my *** after telling me if i didn't quite speaking they would door this i looked at them and said go right ahead officer __________ and officer __________ and when your done i will walk right over their and wait till it opens and then have your jobs and they abruptly changed their attitude and finished writing my ticket and went on their way my assumption is that they realized not everyone is an ignorant punk that will let them get away with arrogance

Cops just enforce the laws, if you have a problem with the laws, take it up with congress, not the cops. Granted, some cops go on power trips, but can you imagine what this country would be like without law enforcement. Cops just get a bad wrap because people don't like speeding tickets and want to smoke their weed.(I think it should be legalized, but thats not the cops fault.) I think it is a pretty honorable job, putting oneself into danger for the benefit of otheres; especially when half the population doesn't even appreciate them.

I think there is the good and the bad like every one else. I have had to call the cops a few time. once because I was followed home the cops found him and was already known for assaulting women so I definitely know there are good cops out there.

God, that's such a cliche' thought. If you're going to dis cops, be a little more creative about it. Somebody has to protect the morons out there like you. You hate on cops, but I'm sure you're the first one dialing 911 whenever you get scared of the wind blowin outside your window.

I hope you are not as stupid as your question makes you seem. I am pleased to know that I have law officers in the city, county, state, and country I live in. I have never had a bad experience with police officers and many times they have come to the aid of members of my family who needed assistance or protection. If you think they are so bad, why not move to a country where there are no people willing to risk their lives to protect you? We won't miss you or your kind for a minute!

If you had to deal with what deal with on a regular basis, you would probably feel different. Many department put quotas on their officers, so they can collect as much revenue as possible. Let's be honest, 95% of all cop would put themselves between you and a bullet. Stop being petty.

Most of the cops in Sydney, Australia look like they still haven't finished school! So I'd imagine their ***** would be um rather small! LOL
