Police do have the right to seize any and all property. But only if they have a search warrant issued by a judge which authorizes the police to conduct a search of a person or location for evidence of a criminal offense, and seize the evidence. In order to obtain one, an officer must first prove that probable cause exists, although this can be based on hearsay evidence and can even be obtained by oral testimony given over a telephone. Both property and persons can be seized under a search warrant

Yes they have the right to do so because it helps them get to the criminals or suspects for sure. This is called 'tapping' of phones and is a normal practice in many countries, not only during drug raids, but also in other crimes like extortions, kidnappings, etc.

if the raid was done under a warrant yes .
a warrant covers everyone and everything in the maintained perimeter that was placed on the warrant ..
meaning your house, all its belongings, property i.e. yard, any vehicles in the driveway or designated parking spaces, Etc.

a warrant basically gives the officers permission to own everything in the above sentence for the time given...

Drug raids are usually backed up with a search warrant. The search warrant will cover electronic communications as well as any other contraband located on the premises.
