i heard it was legal to carry a ounce of marijuana in the state of florida

I just had to clear up some mis-information here.....
Marijuana, for medial patients is LEGAL in 11 states......( on a state law level ).......
it is still illegal on the federal level, and the states are having problems with being able to make their own laws and not have the Government stick their nose in where it doesn't belong.
those states that have Medical marijuana laws have possession limits......
Florida is NOT one of those states, sorry.......

I don't think so no. And ounce is a pretty big bag too. I'd be more likely to think maybe you would just get a fine for less than an ounce. But I really don't know.

I heard that if you only have a small amount that some cops will let you off with a warning. I saw on the Maury Show one time a video of a cop letting some people off on just a warning and they said on the show it is allowed by certain cops.

I believe that Nevada allows you to carry a certain amount but that is the only state that I am aware of that made a minimal amout legal. Moving to Nevada?

No. Its Illegal- Its less than 20 gr, its illegal even for personal use... It depends on how its packaged too... a bunch of little bags in one big one... means one thing and all in one bag means another... I don't think its legal, its a misdemeanor punishable by a max of 1 year in jail, fine of no more than $1K and possible suspension of drivers license...something like that.

No it is a small crime but still not a good idea give the cops a reason to come rip your house apart with a search warrant.

no its not legal. however, in denver you can carry up to an ounce and not get arrested cause its stupid to get arrested for having such a small amount. new law. amazing.

Yes but believe it or not, maybe not for long. They are talking about banning it again but not for the reason you think. The want to ban it because of second hand smoke, just like cigarettes.

it is illegal all over America. We are a free country yet we can not have that when less free countries can. go figure that one out and you are just as bad a driver high as a drunk yet we can drink
