What should I say to the judge? Are there any "hot buttons" or anything that could help to reduce my sentance? It is for a DUI. Does anyone have a lot of experience with DUI cases and what to say to judges when asked "Do you have anything to say to the court?"

It really was a dumb mistake. I have not driven drunk since I was a teenager. Does any of that matter to the judge? Thanks.

I recently veiwed my MN. driving record and was completely surprised. Honestly, I'm no angel. I had some wild younger years but mellowed with the coming of my childern. I looked at my record because 9yrs. ago I was charged with 3 D.U.I.s in 9mos. 1 of which I had plead down to driving without a license. But when I went to get my license back the state made me jump the hoops of someone with 3. I'm not saying they shouldn't have. I was just curious how it read on my record. I was completely supprised when I got 4 pages of stuff. There was suspect to assualts, suspect to robbery, wittness to assualt, wittness to accident etc.. Some of these things I knew the inncident they refered to. Many I had no idea. In any I was never questioned, charged, or convicted of them in any case. Most of them I didn't even know what they were talking about. How can this be legal? Innocent till proven guilty my eye. Is this not profiling?

My little motorbike was stolen in the middle of the night last Tue/Wed. I have since found out that a neighbour saw it and phoned the police as a crime in progress. He also got a very detailed description of one of the thieves. But the police didn't come out or take a statement from him. If they had it would have been easy to find the 5 youths carrying the bike down the road. I phoned them again about it a couple of days ago with this new information and they said they'd phone me back but they didn't. What do you think I should do? Should I complain to the police authorities?

i think they should just have their arms amputated not only will they never be able to kill again they also will hate life more. i mean it would just be easer to them to be put to death than continue living on with such a handicap. Or do you have a better idea?
