Would it be your Nan's handbag?

For the sake of argument, let's say it's a large bag of white powder. And what do you mean "What's a Nan?" - your Grandmama, yankee boy.

According to me, you intend to hide the evidence of a criminal act so that when you actually commit it, you do not get caught.

There is a golden rule "If there is an incriminating evidence that can be found then it will be found". So rather than focus on hiding it, you must focus on not leaving it at all.

The definition is any evidence that is an undeniable proof that the person who has been arrested was responsible for that criminal act. It should be admissible as well as acceptable in a court of law.

Suggestions:
1. Watch FBI files,
2. Read police files, (1 and 2 will give you a fairly good idea of the techniques that the modern day police use to track criminals)
3. Burn down everything that can indicate that you have committed a crime.
4. Never commit the crime in the state where you live,
5. Only one criminal act in a couple of years.

The final answer: do the crime in a poor country, they do not have resources to track down a criminal even if you leave plenty of such evidence.

I would never think to look in a miniature replica of the Taj Mahal that was made out of discarded lolly pop sticks - so home would be the safe bet for your hiding place. But definitely not my Nan's handbag. That thing is sooooo full of crack it would be the first place the sniffer dogs would check!

Well, if they think you've got something and they want to find it, they'll bring in the dogs. The only thing that will keep the dogs from finding it is coffee beans. So I guess the best place to hide it would be in the storeroom at your neighborhood coffee house.

The last place they would look is not someplace they would look. For that they will take you to the Emergency Room and the doc will be the person looking in that last place.
