I have a bench warrant misdemeanor for driving with a revoked liscence . . it was not mentioned . . and record was completely clean. I am THRILLED with this . . .but. . . .Is this really accurate? Does it really mean that it is no longer there . .? How to find out w/o putting my foot in it. It just seems like it is not up to date or inaccurate or something. And gee, it costed me 50.00.

could you get arrested or ticketed for flipping off an on-duty officer? if so, under what law? this is just an in general situation, not during being pulled over or anything like that. just like in passing. answers from officers or from people that know the law are appreciated. i have never done this or plan on doing this, by the way.

I'm looking for resources on the Web or which may be found in a public library, for educating myself on the various types of speed monitoring devices used by law enforcement.

Hey guys, I hope someone can help me out. I am with TD Canada Trust and I bought several money orders to send to someone specific because I worked with them. Basically I list on eBay, keep some money and then I send them the rest. The problem is, the person I am working with is either not sending the items to customers or they are sending the wrong items. I am completely fed up with working with them and feel like this may be a scam or fraud. I've spoken with him over the phone, but he always tells me to relist and take the money out of there. The way I paid him was that I send the money order overnight with tracking. I want to ask, is there anyway I can get a refund from the money orders I sent to him? I have all receipts and all tracking info and emails. I am forced to give refunds to my customers because I can't rely on him. Please let me know what options I have. Thank you.

My Media Studies teacher said there were, to catch shoplifters. Though as a former shoplifter, I was never caught by these supposed security cameras.
Are there security cameras in store dressing rooms and if so, isn't that against the law?

Okay here is the situation.......Lets say that your sisters and brothers always used you as their "gopher", you know go for this and go for that. They would send you to the stores and to run errands.
To make a long long story short, one day your sister asked you to go pick her son up from school and then she asked while you were out in town would you do her a favor. She asked you to wire some money Western Union for her. Not really thinking about anything, you went ahead and done it.
Well come to find out a couple of months later, the DEA and FBI raided her home and they search everything. You find out your sisters husband and your sister had been invovled in some kind of money laundering scheme.
Well the DEA had tracked down everyone who had sent money via Western Union and your name gets brought up.
Your sister gets time and so does everyone else that they had proved to get a package back in the mail via UPS containing dope.

Ok I travel the turn pike often. I see state troopers flying by me like im standing still and im going 70 mph. That is 5 mph over the limit. They don't have their lights on or anything so none of that stupid talk about cops doing their duty. If they were doing something they would have their lights on. Also not just on the turn pike, in our town too which is only 25mph and they go about 60 with out lights? I was thinking of making a log book and writing down the time/date/and car number. Any other helpful hints?

You can rob all the convenience stores or banks you want, but heaven help you if you speed.
It seems as if they can only police the law abiding citizens.
Where is all the tax money going to pay for good help?
Why is the salary for police officers not higher in Lexington?

My husband has a gun he's trying to fix for a friend but we can't find any information on it any where. Its very small, and we can't even find a serial or model number. If any one out there has any ideas please let me know. We've already search the Smith & Wesson site, with no luck.

I gave them verbal notice and have waited 8 weeks. With no written agreements or rent, etc. what does the law require of me to get these things out of my warehouse? It is heavy restaurant equipment. I live in Virginia. Can I sell this stuff to get rid of it or am I stuck until they feel like moving it?

The hells angels are having there annual “rally” in my town right know yes I know that a large majority of there members are convicted criminals however in this town of approximately 30,000 people we normally have 10 city police and 12 county sheriff deputies however right now there are law enforcement officers form allover the surrounding area as well as federal officers the number I herd today is approximately 140 law enforcement officers

My question is is this over kill at what point does having so many law enforcement officers become a liability I am not being derogatory towards law enforcement but I think if you have 20 hells angels that are getting a little rowdy and you send in 40 cops don’t you think this could start a bigger problem

Just a real question not trying to say that law enforcement would do anything other than what they felt they should do to protect
