What's it like being a Texas State Trooper?

I know I want to go into Law Enforcement in Texas, but Im not sure exactly what route. Does anyone here work for DPS as a Texas State Trooper?

but had a friend that wanted to but he ended up somewhere else!
Just go thru the police academy there and when ur done look adn apply everyewhere ya wants to work and u will land a job soon! fort worth is a good place to start!
