I wonder what type of action I can take against a parent who has accused me, a teacher for askning her child to follow directions in our parent pick up line.

The parent was trying to load her child in the wrong area and I asked her to pull up and told her son not to load there. She left a very nasty phone message in my classroom threatening my job with the school board for undermining her authority as a parent.

She was clearly in the wrong and I want to stop her from making calls like this to me or my employer again. What do I do?

People always come back to the point that all us Europeans were immigrants 300 years ago. True, but back then, there wasn't laws established stating that you had to do this and that in order to be a citizen and work and live here. It amazes me when people say that illegal immigrants are doing anything wrong. Ummm...yes, they are doing something wrong, and illegal. If you're going to have a law, you better enforce it. I have no problem with anybody coming here legally, the more the marrier I say. But when you come to our country illegally, you're breaking our law. Then you come have the nerve to live here and not learn our language. I personally think that is extremely rude and disrespectful. And to all the people that say that if we kicked out all the illegals, our economy would be dead.Actually, the fact that most illegal aliens don't pay taxes, this creates a big burden on all the legal citizens that pay taxes.

C-9 request for surgery on rt shoulder was submitted by my Ortho Dr ,employer denied me treatment,by stating injury was not work related .Hired lawyer ,claim went to the Industrial Commission of Ohio .District Hearing Officer approved claim
My Dr had already performed Orthoscopic Surgery ,but because employer is once again appealing further treatment was denied (physical therapy) so now 2.5 mths later Dr says surgery is needed again because no follow up treatment was allowed ,retore what he fixed ,and has now progressed into a worse condition, requiring even more drastic measures to fix .
My employer has hired a new team of lawyers to bring me down and now wants me to co-operate with them by seeing an employer paid Dr ,calling it an independent evaluation.
How can they call it that if they are paying for the visit ?
Can and or should I refuse to go ?
Is this now turning into personal injury case
This same employer didn't call me an ambulance when I had a heart attack at work

Americans have a civil right that is called Freedom of Speech. Yahoo Answers has a rule that two complaints causes a post to be deleted. Of course, they want to use this as a way to keep profanity, obscenity, etc., off these forums. Unfortunately, this is not the way members are using the Deletion process.

They are using the "Abuse" key as a weapon against anyone who disagrees with them either politically or in religious matters.

This is clearly against the civil rights of all Americans. It is stifling the political and religious views of other people, denying them their right to Freedom of Speech. Any complaint about this only results in a form letter.

Perhaps an attorney should be consulted, and Yahoo Answers explain their lack of control over these forums. I am saving a copy of every post of mine that has been deleted and I ask that everyone who has a deleted post save a copy. I am also saving posts that DO use profanity and obscenity and are NOT deleted.

I have a Nevada Court Order and my ex lives in Idaho. The order states he is to pay $248.00 current and 284.00 In arrearages every month. The case worker lowered his arrearage payment to $25.00 per month and the arrearage balance is $27,500.00 which will take 90 years to pay off. The state law in Idaho is that they can garnish up to 50% and they are not doing that. They refuse to take my calls in Idaho and my Case worker in Ohio never knows what is going on and tells me there is nothing I can do. How can I get him thrown in jail or his license suspended? Should I involve the D.A. and the Attorney General in his state?

Apart from a few of the states the US clings to the death penalty. In Brit and elsewhere it has long been abolished. Isn't it high time the US got into line with the civilized world? It has been proved time after time that people have been mis-convicted and once you've killed them you can't bring them back and apologize to them.

Supplementary question - You wouldn't normally expect one country to have death penalty in one part of it yet none in another part, yet this is what happens in the US. Plus they have different ways of killing in different parts. Isn't this all too weird?

Just 3 rules here, you'd have to do it outdoors away from you're local area and not be driving.

eg not in you're own home, away from people you know or know you and not a motoring offence.

What would do to break the law and why wouldn't you feel too bad about it?

We are selling a specialized computer system -- computer, monitor, and UPS in one metal & glass frame [similar to the all-in-one computer]. All the parts, the pc, the monitor, the UPS, and the cables are from Dell website, with FCC mark. We simply help to put the whole system into the metal & glass frame.

Do we need to apply for a FCC test on the unit or no?

"Specific requirements have been set up by the FCC under Rules and Regulations, Title 47, Part 15 Subpart B. "

"It is illegal to sell or even advertise Class A or Class B products until their radiated and conducted emissions have been measured and proven to be in compliance with FCC regulations. Specialized radiated and conducted EMI test procedures must be followed completely and correctly. "

I have many problems or so it would seem, however the one that I'm currently on is more of a legal matter than anything else. Look at the questions I've already asked before and I want to know what my best course of action should be. I'm asking if any of you would happen to be or know of any lawyers who are willing to work for 45% of any money that happens to come out of this. If it is someone that happens to know the lawyer, they'll get the 5% for reffering them. I'll sign any contract that would bind me to this. No stupid comments unless you want one back in return, and thats if I have time.
