Colo. teens-16&17yr old- kill 7 yr old 1/2 sister .Should they get the death penlaty or slap on wrist?

Those are not the only 2 choices. If they are found guilty, they should be separated from society for a long time--maybe the rest of their lives. Whether they go to prison or a mental institution is up to the courts to decide.

They should be put away for a long time!! 16 & 17 cmon they sure know the difference between right & wrong! but i dont think they should be put to death!

Death would be an easy escape with no consequences. It's people like this that make me wish the days of torture chambers were still here.

they should be put in a microwave and killed asap. or put them in solitary confinement with pink walls and a fuzzy piece of splintery board for a bed. or a slap on the wrist with a sledge hammer and no hospital in the surrounding 100 miles.
that disgusts me.

i would have to say the death penalty, even though life in jail would be a lot worse, but it costs a hell of a lot more to give someone free bed and board for 70 years as it does to buy a length of rope and hang the fu..ckers
