Health care is a burden on business and on workers as well as those who are self employed. Why not put it in the hands of a government agency and administer it through health care agency's?
Business would no longer need to factor that into wages. Therefore they could pay higher wages. If not they would be taxed on the profits from not having to pay for health care. The Alcohol, tobacco, and firearms could pay a health care tax because they are the prime reason for emergency care and cancer. Alcohol in excess can cause liver damage.
now if people have more income and business has more cash flow this can only help us become more competitive in the world market.
France,China,England.Finland.Denmark,Germany,and Canada all have socialized medicine.
This allows their business the freedom of not dealing with it. It also gives everyone health care. In this country 50 million people have no health care because they simply can't afford it. Many are young men under 28 years of age.

my friend was driving a car registerd to me (that i have been letting her drive for the past 5 months) and she decided to go to a pharmacy drive through, say she was someone else, and obtain this other person's pain killer.

we know this other person (the one she took the rx from) and the person called the cops. I had no idea my friend was going to do this, was not in the car, i have no record and i was at work all day (which can be verified).

the person that called the cops knows that i have nothing to do with it but wants to bust my friend. that is perfectly fine with me. here comes the bad part.

i used to buy a few from the person that has the rx, and when they catch my friend, she will try to bring us both down with her. i haven't bought any in a couple of weeks, and my system is clean, the car i drive is clean, my apt is clean and my record is clean.
would what she tells the officer be considered heresay? or could i face charges (with no physical evidence)??

This is ridiculous! Santa has always been saying "ho ho ho" and no one ever had a problem with it. It's not even supposed to have anything to do with the inappropriate term. Seriously, I think people should be spending time worrying about something that actually matters.

In the interest of justice, all the relevant facts, testimony, and documents should be able to be presented in a lawsuit, but successful lawsuits in the U.S. are often determined by which lawyers are most successful at keeping the opponent's evidence out of court. What has been your experience with this?

A pizza store has a 5 store chain of pizza restaurants. It purchased self service soda dispensers for all its stores from a company called Carbo. As part of the contract, Carbo agreed to maintain and repair the soda machines for 3 years. 6 months later, the maintenance guy at Carbo retired. Instead of hiring a new employee, Carbo entered a new contract with a company called Bubbles, transferring its obligation to maintain and repair the machines to Bubbles. After several machines were unusable for long periods, the pizza shop sued Carbo for breach of its contract to repair the machines. Carbo denied any responsibility and said that it delegated the duty to Bubbles which now had the obligation to perform. Who should win this lawsuit?

My friend is in a popular band and has sold out all of their concerts in the past 2 years. A manager at a venue recently signed a contract with the band to perform 2 concerts in one evening for $50,000 total. The manager rented the venue, paying a non refundable guarantee of $10,000. The manager anticipated selling out both shows and hoped for over $100,000 in profit. A short time later my friend and his band told the manager that they were breaching and would not perform. The manager had not incurred any additional expenses and my friend and his band offered to pay the $10,000 to reimburse the manager for the deposit on the venue. The manager refused to accept the $10,000 and sued my friend and his band for $100,000 in lost profits as consequential damages. If the manager wins, what would they receive as damages?

My friend owns a restaurant in the city. The newspaper reported that the city entered into a contract with a construction company to build a convention center across from my friends restaurant. My friend figured that business was going to increase due to the convention center so my friend leased additional space and expanded the restaurant. A few days later the city announced that the construction company breached the contract but decided not to sue them but to build the center in another part of town. My friend wants to sue the construction company to recover what she spent to expand the restaurant on the grounds that she was a third party beneficiary of the contract between the construction company and the city. Will my friend win?

I am a senior in high school, and this past weekend my mom went out of town. Friday night i had a party with about 50 people at my house, which went all night without a hitch (there was alot of drinking and some marijuana use involved). Saturday night, I hosted another party, which was broken up by 3 cops about 2 hours in. They said that they had recieved a call from the neighbors regarding the noise (I don't know which neighbors). They had us dump all of the alcohol and let the guests leave. They then took down my sister and my names, ages, birthdays, and phone number. They then told us that they would be watching the house, and the next time would result in an arrest. It is now Sunday, and my mom has returned. We have not been caught. I would like to know how long I need to wait before having another party. P.S. please take this question seriously, thanks!

Ok. This boy comes up and punches me for no reason at all and then runs the other way. I went and told the vice principal on him, and he got suspended for 10 days. Then later on when he returns, he claims to other people that it was an accident, or he turns it the other way and he has like 3 versions of the story going around. Then the teachers said he's not aloud to be in the same room as me, so I tell my friends and then the boy says that I'm lying about it and he won't just come and confront me about it. Then he passed a message to me saying that I better have a good lawyer because he's sewing me for getting him suspended when it was his fault. I passed a message back saying if it went to court I was going to make sure and put a 1000 feet restraining order on him which would be good because he's obsessed with killing, and Hitler. I had already promised the vice principal that I wouldn't talk about it when he came back, but he's making it hard on himself because he's doing it.

Our neighbors and my parents are always fighting about the driveway in the winter, they don't like it that we use salt and sand to help us drive up the steep hill... But The neighbor parks his huge truck in the part of the driveway that is common and uses our side of the common drive to drive up? Does he have the right to do that? And do we have any rights to putting down sand and salt? We live in Southbury, CT -USA Not sure if laws are different elsewhere? My dad wants to eventually get the land surveyored and then build a fence on our land and make our driveway seperate until then we want to know our rights to the common shared driveway
