Yes, it is.
But only in Nevada. I am not sure of the exact laws there.
Ok correction I found this on the net:
Nevada is one of only two U.S. states that allow some legal prostitution; in most of its counties, brothels are legalized and heavily regulated. In Rhode Island, the act of sex for money is not illegal, but street solicitation and operation of a brothel are.
PS Strip clubs are not legal all over either. Ordinances prohibit them in many areas.

yes... not everywhere. In Pharump, NV. i live in Las Vegas where it is ILLEGAL. but Pharump is about 1 1/2 hrs outside Vegas. thats the only place i know of, but there might be more
