I thought their was some law now because of all the broken windshields. Is this true? I live in WA and I saw on the back of one of those dump trucks a bumper sticker saying they do not pay for broken windshields. I wonder if the driver put that on and its just bs. Does anyone know anything about an actual law? please include sources...thank youuuu

I know of a guy who is about to get hired, but he only has 1 IT certification and no degree.

I have an Associates and Bachelor's in Telecommunications Systems, I have two certifications, but yet, this person is getting hired over me.

And I have more experience than him.

At what point is it appropriate to beat the living crap out of somebody who has been giving you grief the majority of your school life? I dont mean ethically or morally, but legally. Can somebody sue me if I, lets say for example, knock out a few of their teeth, EVEN if they hit me first (and I have witnesses). In other words, what does the law consider appropriate self defence, and am I liable if I seriously hurt someone who regularly, though minorly, (tries to) hurt me?

We are afraid that our brother may sell it off without our signatures and we may not get any amount . We have given a regd letter to Sub-registrar to not to make any transaction pertaining to that house. Now what is the possibilities of getting our share from our brother

You know what I am talking about...there should be a way to sue or something. If so, how or what would you need to prove it in court?

Did Mike McHaney actually committed rape or molestation against children before he tried to meet that 13 year old?
Do you think he is innocent until proven guilty?
What about blogging ethics?
"He has sexual interest in male children" - Is that a crime?
People say kinds of things on the internet, play pranks, pretend to be some other person. But there is no statute yet about crimes on the internet.
One last question:
Are there any 13 year olds who seriously initiates sex with adults?
Although 13 year olds are young and can't think for themselves (at least in the eyes of many adults). Sorry, I respect children very much and I am against adultism.

I think the guns for private citizen shall be banned.
Congress is reconsidering the gun law. And I strongly urge them to put guns only in those hands of the military, and the police and national guards. The rest of the guns shall be taken away . Too much crime with them. What do you all think? How many more inoccent lives must be lost before we act?

I have already filed a letter of non-receipt with the company and they have told me that the claim is pending with the shipping company. I think that the company should issue me a refund and the claim with the shipping company should be resolved between them and the shipping company since I did not get a choice on shipping. I think over 3 months (I purchased the item mid-Aug) is a pretty lengthy period for a refund for an item I never received in the first place. Does anyone have any advice of what I can do at this point? The company is legitimate, they are not a fly by night, but obviously their customer service is horrible.

However when I was having a nervous breakdown and she took him to help me out, she said she'd be waiting for me to get my life togeher, I should take as long as I need.

My son has bween with her for almost four years however I saw him, minimum once in two weeks and right now a lot more, three times a week. I work in Sales but I'm not making much. I just need time, and I don't understand why mother went so far, except that she's an orthodox Jewish individual and I am not.

I love my son, I will fight till I die, but I would rather even it out and have a good relationship with my family, settle it out of court.

Another, and last hearing is in January, I don't know if I will have enough time to get situated. I would like to go for Trial.

I have been the one to sign all the documents for services required for my son so far.

What are my legal actions?

Long story short - told boss I was pregnant, baby died in 5th month, then diagnosed with blood disorder, doctor said not to return to work for about 6 months. Gave boss dr's note, he said it was unacceptable, told me I was a liar, that I was the reason that he had to work every weekend for the last 4 months, and that I had to apologize to him for sending him a letter explaining the seriousness of my disease and letting him know that I was disappointed that after 8 years' of service, my situation was handled with such a lack of sensitivity. Boss doubted my baby's age at death, and said so in his letter to me. Hence my reply, which I was asked to apologize for. Told him no way, just stating the facts and my feelings - then was told "this discussion is over", I replied "I get the impression I am not welcome here anymore", he replied, "no you're not, now get out of here, you're not welcome here anymore". I filed complaint with labour board, and now he denies everything - priceless!

I live in California. If you are employed by someone who harasses you frequently, but only when you're alone so that there would be no evidence, would it be legal to record him doing it? Or would you just have to deal with it?

I didn't see the movie, but I've read some articles since the movie from people close to the case that claim the preponderance of evidence was that he was guilty of at least some felony in the incident for which he went to jail for. Is there any general view among the legal community about this, as opposed to the general public that is swayed by just about any sort of hearsay or obfuscation?
