At 16, you are legally allowed to set up a pup tent in your back yard and have an outdoor overnighter without anyone there to babysit. Watch out for snakes and spiders!

1. go to school
2. drive
3. have too much drama in your life
Being 16 sucks you cant do anything but drive any you have restrictions on that. 18 is ok but after buying smokes and going to clubs , 21st b-day is the next big one.

16 is significant in driving, its often the age of consent for sex, within certain parameters, somestates allow quitting/dropping out of public school at that age, and in some localities its significant with curfew laws.
And of course in some states its significant for marriage ages.

Nope your still pretty much under the law of your parents at that age. It gets better when your 18 you can be arrested, sent to war to kill and die for your country, vote(at least) but you still wont be able to drink or party hahaha
